Bri Hall I definitely feel that prepooing and protective styling with yarn twists really helped my hair grow. I would oil my hair every other day or few days and because of the yarn it soaked up the oil and helped my hair grow so much.

EDIT: please still watch the full video guys. This is a SUMMARY but doesn’t go into detail about all the points made. She also points you to specific videos that can help you further ♥️ Summary: 1. Lock in moisture (she doesn’t use any on her scalp but does use grease or whipped shea butter) 2. Learn your hair porosity (porosity determines how your hair receives moisture) 3. Wearing stretched and protective styles 4. Hair steamer & greasing the ends of twist outs 5. Clay washes (bentonite clay to be specific) 6. Pre poo and deep condition 7. Style based on what’s healthy for your hair, not what’s the cutest (no super tight ponytails, etc) 8. Oil is your friend (: 9. Believe in yourself. Positive mindset = positive results. Great video Bri and blessings for 2020 🌱

Literally I grew my hair from shoulder length to the middle of my back in less than a year because I deep conditioned my hair weekly (I have SUPER high porosity hair) and sealed my moisture with hair grease!! Well technically it was hair food. I used the green grease called olive oil hair food and it smells like gummy bears and makes my hair so soft and moisturized!! I went swimming with my hair down in a chlorine pool for about 6 hours and when I went to wash and detangle my hair it wasn't dry AT ALL!! It was soooo soft and moisturized!!

I honestly don't see why the "natural hair community" go so hard on grease. Especially when that was something that most of us grew up on...grease was essential in my household as a child. And if you ask me I think it contributed to at least some of my hair growth. I think people just try so hard to stay ON TREND that they make a big deal out of nothing.

I straightened my hair for the first time in two years and girl my hair went from big chop to almost under bra strap! But then I had to cut two inches off because my ends were bad 😊 I’ll be waist length by the end of the year

Yes the natural community is too much. For real. They really need to get over it. Everyone who ask me what I do to my hair, I tell them to do their research. Great video.

Omg, learning my hair porosity is definitely something I need to learn!! I have tried figuring it out, but ummmm seem lost still. I have tried the test, and got different results. Knowing my hair this 2020 is hair goal♡. Thanks for your tips!

I love you so much sis!!! 🥰🥰🥰 I’m watching all you videos, and thank you!! For educating me. My mom is Asian, and doesn’t know African hair. My dad was mostly African, but was bald most of his life. So I’m learning what I was missing in my childhood. Thank you sis!! 😭😭😍🥰❤️❤️

Your edges are popping but your hair is so beautiful btw I'm taking vitamins too but my nails though and my box braids though is just helping my hair ❤❤❤ I'm glad that I got those done the day before my birthday I did myself a favour.

Your twistout is gloriously thick and voluminous❤! I had some Vaseline with Cocoa Butter that I purchased a while back to use on my feet. Well, one day recently I tried it on my ends, and the rest is history. I'm an ingredients snob, but every now and then I will let one slide lol.
