Thats nothing special I do a push pull legs split training 6 times a week. on push days i do 4 sets of cable laterals. I do rear flys on pull days and typical push stuff on push days. If your do proper combo exercises rear and front heads will develop fine. The lateral simply doesn't get any stimulation unless you do lateral raises. Seems like this guy just didn't do lateral raises.

Ya that is the correct way to train the lateral head. Which is the one that gets almost no stimulation. Front gets plenty on push, and rear gets plenty on pull. I do cable lateral raises as it keeps tension through the whole range. DB are ok, but they put almost no tension on the muscle in the lengthened position, which is where muscle growth is stimulated the most (makes sense as its the weakest position for any muscle).

3:18 bro, dumbells weigh the same on the way down as the way up. The benefit of the cable is that you have more tension at the bottom. Yes, of cause you have gravity pulling them down

What are you even saying?
@chrikke3 ай бұрын
@@NotFrizzr It ain't that hard to understand. What Fazer is saying in the video doesn't make any sense though. The problem with fitness content is that these people with amazing genes, and a lot of time, think they're scientists and are qualified to make guides.

@@chrikkemy guy, lemme teach you some physics, there is a thing called torque, it basically states that the far an object with mass is from the rotation point (the shoulder) the more the amount of force needed to move it on the axis parallel to which the anti-force in holding against, this anti force is gravity, per say the weight gets "heavier" when on the top, not that it weights more, but that it's harder to move it up

I went from doing shoulders/arms/calves twice a week to 4x a week with great results. The key was to restrict heavy lifts to only two of those days. And diet/recovery of course.
