Interesting stuff. Some advice that I recently picked up from another channel, you can manipulate a monster that attacks twice during enraged state quite easily. Make sure you have a monstie thats lower speed then your hunter (which has 13), so no Silverwind and such. What you can do to avoid dying to a second attack on the same target, is don't double attack with your monstie. A double attack will prevent one of the enraged monsters attacks, but not the other, opening you up to dying to that second attack (thus resetting all your heroics/vigilance boosts). An enemy monster will never attack the same target twice as long as you don't double attack it, and as long as it doesn't use an AoE attack. So just win the head to head twice by selecting a skill with your hunter, and the monster will attack your monstie on the second strike (allowing you to head-to-head that attack also). If you win the hth, you can't die, and are able to maintain

Damn bro your guide you posted before really helped me alot improve ! I was the one that also used it when i had it. Or i tried to build the kinship to lvl3. Now i really enjoy to fight against the monster while ridin mine and use it when the monster doesn't focus anyone. Also congrats on reaching the cap man holy f*** ... tds who ? 😋

I’m interested in your s. Zinogre build. Are you going to upload a video on it? Also props on hitting the damage cap I’m only doing a measly 3.2k and that’s only the very best I’ve gotten with my GS and having my diablos drop the enemy’s defense and crit bc of the monster being knocked. I almost got 4K with a double ult in multiplayer but I’m not counting that since it’s not just me🤣🤣

Kind of irrelevant, but I love the hammer. This one time, I was doing the story Lagiacrus fight and managed to knock him down while he inflicted with burn. My hammer dealt fire damage (Lagi is weak to fire), blastfire chaser, and had two charges. So I used the blastfire chaser+ and did over 2.3k in one hit. My rider was only level 27.

have u try seeing your damage on elders? not sure if S.edler and co-op elder dragons have different defences? my record is 6k crit with bleed on a vel.

It's definitely different. The higher you go (and the enemy types such as Elders) there is different resistances/defense stats

Wait, I thought there was no max lvl on gear after 3 so what is the actual max? (I havent grinded enough to get past lvl 3 redgear)

its 5, the last materials usually need something rare like elder dragon drops and 1 commendation

Yep. And make sure when upgrading you NEVER use the "auto" button to apply materials! It will try to use your rarest materials which are more important for the later levels of the upgrade

@@Xenoswarm They arent tho. unlike the first game where you needed specific materials for later levels, this one only needs a certain amount of points. it doesnt matter if you use one +10 Gem or 10 +1 scales, the end result is the same. it is more eficient to use rare materials at any point that doesnt go over the requirement, then use the lower ones to fill the remainnig space.

Why bleed over poison for using Salt in the wound? Or Is it because bleed is the only status that amps dps separate to salt in the wound activating?

bleed has it's own built in modifier that increases damage dealt to targets afflicted by it

@@DrosoParis The Nerscylla armor is layered. The Armor i'm actually wearing and show in the video is Bloodbath ;)

@@DrosoParis Monstie Genes and Rider skills are separate. So if you're doing a lot of status attacks, you'd want it on both Rider and Monstie

For my damage cap hit, which keep in mind was at level 62, was kinship skill with a bleed and salt in the wound XL Silverwind on a downed monster Edit: i was wearing the bloodbath armour for non-elemental boost XL, although i'm not sure if that affects the monstie. I also didn't have any atk boosts. Although another thing to keep in mind was that this was targeted on a broken part for extra damage
