I know this is an old video so it doesn’t help but for anyone looking for tips, when my parents put this type of flooring in our house my parents had my sister and I sit in a sheet and then dragged us around the floor to help stick the pieces down! It was a fun way to get the job done

I'm getting ready to redo the floors in an old Winnie and this was the first video I came across. You made it way less intimidating. Thanks!

Been a few years. How’s it holding up? Any bucking or sliding around? I know a lot of people have asked already so please let us know

A tip or question to this old video is for the top part, I would spackling mud, or maybe use cocking for the cracks or seams so the floor is even.

Specifically manufacturers like Armstrong say that you should not apply peel and stick tiles to any sort of particle board (which is what she has on her floor).

Thanks for your video. Im doing the exact same thing to my camper this weekend. I think I may add a little glue to the boards for extra stick. Thanks again!!

Have these held up in the heat?

This was a great video! Thank you! You remind me of me and my projects! I think if you cut the stencil out it would have helped. Also, if you flip over the tile you can draw the stencil on the paper side and can see the lines better❤

Looks great.. I see it’s been a while and was curious if the glue held up through the summer and winter temperatures?
@TheDiariesofDevin2 жыл бұрын
Well I no longer have the rv, but it did hold up through one full summer and winter. I had some issues in the bathroom, but thats because of the subfloor I tried to fix under the vinyl. I would definitely try to find a way to weigh it down if you go this route, that will make it easier.

@@TheDiariesofDevin thank you for the reply, me and my gf are looking into giving a rv a makeover and was going to take this route. Cheers.

Started to put down some vinyl tile in a storage compartment and they did not stick. I used a hairdryer and a heating pad with a heavy book and they kept curling at the sides. I need the name of a product I can trust.

I watched an video of a woman who used peel & stick tile in her RV & she said to just use an adhesive.

To weigh down the tiles I will use my Hubbies free weight dumb bells! They are 25 lbs each.

Hello, I'm considering the peel and stick on the floor of my class C RV so yours was the first video I watched. I was hoping for a little more instruction on how to do it. I hope there's an easier way for cutting around turns instead of the stencil method you used with the piece of paper and pencil. It looks like a pain in the ass to do it that way. Your floor looked good so looks like you did a good job.

If you're gonna sling shade like that you better get a "proper according to you" video up. Say what you will but this she's has got a solid video on a rarely covered topic. And the only reason I'm here is because the last DUDE who did my RV didn't do half the prep she did... competency doesn't have a gender. Here's hoping that was a poorly chosen joke and I'm triggered over nothing

I've got 2cents to share: The last not 1, not 2 but 3 professional's, "RV Specialist's" I hired left a lot to be desired. I've had to fix or complete their flawed work. I'm just saying...
