I love your tutorials, you make it very easy to follow along. I'm going to be a grandma for the first time in the spring and I've done just a little crocheting in the past. Wanting to make my first blanket (for the baby), yours looked absolutely stunning. I love your pattern for the vintage granny squares and how to join them. Thank you so much!

Too funny -- I just found your channel yesterday and learned the granny square with your tutorial. And I've been joining them with the slip stitch as a guess. Thanks for sharing this.

A completer beginner, thanks to you, I have finished a vintage square baby blanket and joined it as shown. Do you have any suggestions for a border? I love the ridged effect of the joined squares but it looks a bit unfinished. I did think I'd like to echo the colours. Would a double crochet every, say, 3 chains work? Thanks again.

Thank you this is a lovely project, now when you get to the 4 corners do u attach just 2 sides or across? Does it matter? Thanks so much.

Julie Montoya What I did was to finish the one side, then go through the same middle stitch on the square im working with and the diagonal square, and then the same stitch again and the middle one on the last square, and then down that edge, hope that makes sense!
@debbylee76677 жыл бұрын
Hi! I wanna ask, do you cut the yarn at the end and rejoined it with another 3 in the middle or do you just continue the yarn with the other side?

Hello Crochet Family. ..Need ideas on how to join round dollies that have10 points, (3dc, ch 2, 3dc) in order to create table cloth. Want to crochet them together, not sew. They are 5 inches. .. using crochet thread... having problems with making them lay flat.... HELP

Is there a pattern I should be following about which direction to add the next square. I feel like I'm going in the wrong direction and I'm going to have a lot of ends to sew in because I'm gonna need to cut and finish lots of sections. I hope I made sense. Thanks
@HappyBerryCrochet9 жыл бұрын
Michelle Irudis I just worked around in a kind of circle, I have yet to cut my yarn but when I get to a certain size I will have to cut and re-join to make it a rectangle shape.
