How I level trading in 2023 (BDO Trading Lifeskill XP Guide)

See how I do trade crates for XP if you want to: I bought all the Crop Workshops in Calpheon and near villages, as well as Hidel and it's villages (but this is to be done at last). Then of course hire all the Professional and Artisan goblin workers and level them the way so they get "Adv. Herb Packing" and "General Knowledge: Refinery/Speciality work speed". The first skill will enable you to make 4 crates at once for the same work duration, the second skill will reduce x2 the time to finish the crate work. While leveling them up - make sure to keep Timber and Ore skills as well in case if you need them in the future. This is a long process to get all the skills you need but given how fast crates are created - it should be ok to get at least some powered quick enough and it is passive process anyways. Then to transfer the crates - you can pack at least 13750 crates on to your horse in one go. I personally move them to Sand Grain Bazar semi-afk (or perhaps Valencia directly is even better), and then when I have time or enough of them to move - I cross the desert to Valencia. And teleport back to Altinova, then Sand Grain Basar and repeat. Moving the crates is the most boring, but having workers do crates non-stop at a crazy speed will enable you to level very fast while you do whatever else you want. I never count, and I never have my PC more than 8 - 10 hrs On, but i think with average play time you can make 13750 crates in 1-2 days, especially if you leave your PC on overnight - you can reach my level way faster than I did. I am at Master 24 now and have almost 200k to move and trade. It includes 100k timber, which you can move twice less count at once, this is why herbs are the best for leveling in my opinion. I am not focusing on power leveling, just have it running and sell once in 1-2 months. Will get Guru sometime soon if I am more dedicated to that I guess

Just checked the time - with 1st skill only the work in Calpheon takes around 11 minutes and 40 seconds in average for 4 crates at once, when with the second skill as well the time reduces to 5 minutes and 50 seconds. With that 1 worker can make around 4 x 10 = 40 crates in 1 hour, 10 workers = 400 crates and there are quite many herb workshops in the city and nearby. I have them all

What’s your opinion on the new LOTML crates for exp and where should I transfer them? Also when you said get arti/prof workers with the proper skills. What nodes should these workers in the mean time be working on? I just started on PC so it’s a little confusing. If you have the time I’m on discord

@@lionheart619js Unfortunately, I didn't try them yet. I did timber crates for quite a while buying tons of timber off the market and turning it into Calpheon (and or Mediah) Crates (the most expensive to buy materials for - means faster turnaround for money and profit, but sometimes they are slow to buy off the market). At that time profit was something around 40-50% of what I invest. This is pretty good in the long run but requires doing processing which is semi-afk activity, and transferring them over. With that, I made it to Guru 46 processing. Since then I have done a bit of mob grinding and do herb crates passively with workers just to keep them busy. Regarding getting the skills - I just made them to do crates right away and they level up fast enough. About the workshops I use - I buy them in Calpheon first as they have no travel time and are faster to get. It takes a good amount of CP, especially for the beginners, but that is fairly easy to get doing cooking of the Vinegar when you get Witch's Delicacy for exchange. By doing just that I am at Cooking Guru 26 and have 417 CP. The thing I like about that - workers produce something passively that might or may not benefit me in the future, but since I have it and it is fully passive - why not. Herbs are super cheap to buy and feeding the workers is automatic now. The good thing about timber crates for profit - they are tax-free, so no need in a value pack. Once in a while, I buy a whole bunch of timber (like millions), process it, and assign workers to craft crates when I do anything else. There can be some more optimal/better way of doing it depending on time afk, time semi-afk, goals, and money you have to spend.

@@lionheart619js Sorry for the late reply. First you can start out working on crates right away with these workers, no need to level them up first. It's also a lot easier sniping already levelled workers off the worker exchange now since the price update. As for LOTML crates, I haven't tried making them yet, but for maximum distance bonus you would want to send them to Altinova or further. Might be worth sending to Valencia if you are trading in crates from grana there already to save yourself the trouble of trading at two cities.

@IposVeritas I make mine in ody Trent heidel using grana workers. I use my +3 crate packers to do the higher crates and rotate the ore crates using +3 in calpheon ody grana they make 20 per 45mins

@@markgouldbourne1 Cool! Wouldn´t it be inefficient using grana workers for workshops in for example heidel because of the longer traveltime? And the contribution cost for odyllita houses are pretty high, is there a specific reason you chose those places?

@IposVeritas ody has a +5 ore and timber shop so I can keep stock with the longer travel time places like hidel with the single crate shops I do the palm timbers since there's no +5 for them

it's 10k for palm, a 20LT crate. 14k is for 15LT crates

1. Make trash crates in Grana using cheapest crate materials on the market, transport them to Valencia using the transport feature (open map, click Grana -> transport) then when it's finished take them out of Valencia storage and deliver to trade manager. Connecting the nodes = more xp 2. AFK fish at Duvencrune, turn them in at LoML. 3. Active trading with a wagon going to town trade NPCs and buying whatever you can. Sell them at nearby town. Closer = better because even though it's less XP, you can do more trades, so more XP per hour. More trades also means more trade byproduct (Stained Silk) which can be turned in for even more trading XP.
