Everyone I know who lost big weight did something big like working out for 3 hours a dya, but for me all I had to do was trakc my calories I learned from you, thakn you you changed my life and i love your vidfeos

Wait, track calories? But you ate watever you wanted? What does that part mean? I have been tracking cals at 1200 a day, and walking an hour a day since April, I have lost only 15 lbs but also been sedentary for a good 3 weeks now. I notice when I do not walk I gain, I have gained atleast 7 lbs back so start walking up again. And my diet consisted on teas, water occasionally soda and mostly fish, chicken and salads. 🥗 seems I cannot lose another lb…. I dunno what I am doing wrong.

I ate 90% clean at around 1700 calories and lost 0.8kg - 1kg a week For 99% of people walking + eating at 1200 is pretty much guaranteed to make you lose weight, you mightve been tracking wrong because otherwise it would be impossible to gain weight Make sure you find your maintenance, subtract 500, and dont forget to track “hidden calories” like sauces, small snacks and oil

you need to track your calorie intake while making sure you eat clean and healthy food and walk for sometime in a day while u stay and do things actively in the day....then you can see better results.

also 1200 is freaking low. I don#t know you normal weight and high ans metabolism. But could be that you body entered starvation mode. Better eat a little bit more, but also move a bit more. I have a problem with my sedentary Lifestyle to. If you have the money, buy a standing desk and a walking pad and move while studying / working , watching TV, or just at the start walk on the spot, and set yourself timers. Maybe integrate a morning lunch break and after dinner walk, depending on where you live and how safe that is. Also workout videos on KZbin are FIRE. I tested an other one every two days, till I found one I really liked and integrated that one in my routine. Also I got a pretty cheap digital scale that connects with my phone and gives an estimation of body fat, bmi and my metabolic rate at rest (the calories your body burns daily without exercise). Since its cheap its not the most accurate with how that is calculated based of your weight height and stuff but it helps. And dont deprive yourself to much on foods you enjoy, just fit them in there. I tried so many crah diets, and lifestyle changes, and they all did not work long term or last long term cause I did not enjoy them. Like fasterthanpigs said in his video if you starve yourself you wont last long.

I am going to assume you are 14 - 18. For your height and bodyweight: Maintenance: (1800 - 2200) Depending on how active you are For weight loss (1500 - 1700) Depending on how active you are For weight gain (Anywhere above maintenance) But make sure you try for yourself first because these numbers are influneced by a lot of factors like bodyfat%, genetics, age, lifestyle and some other stuff too

@@fasterthanpigs You got the age right! im not really active but i try to be, im an mesomorph type since i gain and lose weight easily so should i be 1500? (seems to be alot tho since i usually eat around that maintaining)

I would say try around 1500 first and see if you make progress You can see if you make progress by weighing yourself in the same conditions everyday (eg. After you poop, before you eat) If 1500 is too much you can lower it but personally I think that since we are young it is better to do more exercise than to lower our calories too much, since we are growing and nutrition still matters
