As someone who listened to this album for the first time in Summer 2023, I agree. It’s really timeless and works outside of the quarantine context- it’s ultimately just a collection of really great love songs (which is probably an oversimplification)

This was such a beautiful video! Thank you for revisiting a record I too hold so dearly and see as a marker in my life for some true exploration within myself. Coming off my fascination with 90s rock, I never thought I'd connect so strongly with pop, let alone hyperpop but my partner playing Pink Diamond at release was just an awakening to an almost otherworldly degree for me. Charli since became my favorite working musician and the artist I credit so much of my artistic expanse to. Absolutely gorgeous retrospective while simultaneously being a hopeful glimpse into the future.
