No, diesels have to be way stronger in structure. To be from a motorcycle base. Would have to be from scratch.

In the 1960's hillclimbers and drag racers daisy chained 2 HD motorcycle motors together in 1 frame and ran them successfully. . Drag racer Tommy Ivo built and ran a 4 V8 engine dragster and raced it successfully. Split single cylinder HD motors are in competition on the salt flats

Excellent work with limited tools and equipment. My concern is the rear cylinder could get hot and the middle one could get extremely hot. Extend the air fins?

Le Dan is like Allen Millyard's and Pete Aardema's distant cousin on the other side of the world - with the added difficulties of a much smaller budget, and having to design and build his own home-made tools and fittings. Allen and Pete tackle big engines-from-scratch jobs most won't do, but they live where old but first-rate kit is easily found. Le Dan lives in Vietnam, and it can't be as easy for him to acquire equipment that can do this kind of work.

Really awesome stuff! Some of your machining steps are odd though. Do you have a saw? Saw cut some of that stuff, then trim with the mill? I wanted to make a 7 cylinder radial using BMW motorcycle cylinders for a homebuilt airplane, but decided to not do the project.

Something you thought was only possible in survival/crafting video games. Using Aluminum Ingots and scrap to upgrade the engine. Now if i can only find enough tin cans, i could craft a suit of armor.
