Very impressive ! You could have placed ennemies inside the blocks. When you load the level for the first time, they can't spawn because of the block, but when you reload the level, after the randomization, if the block they were on top of was destroyed by a bomb, they spawn. That way there could have been different ennemies for each randomization

Ah, good times with SMBX. When I was younger, I went on my parents' old computer running Windows Vista and opened up Super Mario Bros X. My younger self had a lot of fun putting together "levels" in the editor and played them myself. P.S. I put levels in quotation marks because my age was still in the single digits at the time when I was making levels. You wouldn't expect people that age making levels comparable to the quality of official Nintendo levels.

I made so many god damn levels and world in SMBX, sadly like almost only my friends played them, but SMBX has such a powerful editor with a simple conditions system, trigger blocks and even scripting it's by far the most powerful Mario editor I've ever used.

You should also throw in some Ice Blocks, Brick Blocks (Some with hidden items), ect. This would create a bit more variety. And, in the starting room, you could greater the seed for even more variety.

For the second round, try making the bottom layer into question blocks, and put vines in some of them. ? Blocks with vines will always respawn when the room is reloaded with a door or a pipe. Reloading room can also despawn the magikoopas.

SMBX is still available for download and is still getting "updates." It's been taken over, and since it isn't open source new items and functionality can't be added. However, I believe they are doing small bug fixes and keeping the program compatible with newer versions of Windows.

@SKELUX: I like it since it his a good concept, I just don't like the hard version of hit, because of Nintendo defective controler, that problem his not only for the Nintendo switch controler, I remember it happening with Wii remote while playing super mario maker 1, the same stupid defective controler does this randomly when you have a small space to land on, after landing on a small space, you clearly push right on the control stick, and it randomly decide to walk left and die. Then I go through easy mode again, and then I go to hard mode, this time the faulty controler would not be the problem, it cause once gap to be to large that even with full speed you can't make it accross, unless It his Nintendo faulty controler, that pull back when I did not pull back.
