Yep, Steve is frightening at the wall - feels like Hwoarang with punches. You have to always look out for the wall throw break and lionheart stance mixup. LOL take the high if you can't react to the guard break, it's better than eating the mid and getting launched at the wall.

I play Paul, and no, I dont feel like I'm carried. He has good although outdated poking tools, strong wall pressure and good movement if you have decent execution. Df2 can high crush and is safe but other characters have this same tool while also having other evasive launchers in their kit. He has a very small handful of strings that people have been seeing since T6 and T7, his moveset is very straightforward without much ambiguity or BS. His powercrushers are slow in startup so you run the risk of eating multiple hits and taking too much damage before it comes out - and they dont heat-engage on hit. On the backfoot, Paul suffers a lot and is easily bullied by characters with strong neutral pressure like Nina, Victor, Feng, Reina, etc. At this point, I highly doubt someone is saying that Nina is top 2-5 simply because they heard it somewhere. She's strong in every single game but the T8 system really lets her shine.

Thanks for using my mod. I didn't intend for the outfit to have dirt/damage effect applied on it but I must've missed something coz in your gameplay, the dirt effect is applied onto the outfit and not properly "spread" due to the mirrored UV mapping of the outfit. Usually these issues would be solved before publishing the mod but eh, if Harada can publish a broken game why would I fix it.

Nina is very strong, but she’s difficult to properly play especially at high level. That’s why when people say she’s carries players, I’m like have you actually played with her before? Sure, she has some easy stuff as well, but her advanced combos can be tough. She actually does have weaknesses like gaps between her strings, some unsafe strings, tough execution for maximum damage and not so great reach imo.

While Nina is pretty good in this game she’s definitely one of the harder characters. She’s one of the characters that are good at high level not really for bad players. You can mash with her but the success of that depends on how bad the opponent is.

Just reach rajin with asuka (main) and battle ruler with jun (secondary).. I’m sure people have a lot of complaints about jun with i agree she was just cheap at launch but I believe she got nerfed enough and feels more fair now.. Asuka I don’t hear people complaining to much about her and I mained her since tekken 6 and tag 2 days 👍🏽.. I’m okay with Ninas they usually play to the character strength,, I don’t like her guns because of the chip damage but I really hate Alissa chip damage from chainsaw more then Nina so I can do a trade of for that… I will always 1 and done drags players weather I win or lose I can’t stand that character and all the players that abuse his busted movesets.. I hope in season 2 they nuke that character dragonuv into oblivion.. yoshi players are also I my character I can’t stand but I will honor first to 3 sets and I have a general idea on what to do with yoshi players.. every other character is okay or good in my book 👍🏽

Deleted this fuck ass game a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t be happier 🤗 But while I was playing it my mains were Zafina, Lili and Shaheen. Was defo carried by Lili, but more so by Zafina surprisingly. She got me to blue ranks very quickly, much quicker than I got to the end of red ranks by Lili somehow. People don’t really know what the fuck to do against her, all the way through blue ranks they were still getting caught by her armored 4 from scarecrow, tarantula is frying people’s brains entirely and her third one has good options too.
