I sand my boards using my drum sander. My planer has an horible snipe and it tends to chip the epoxy

When you remove it from the mold, what do you use sanding wise or router wise to shape the sides?

I use table saw to cut the edges straight and square. For the short sides I use a sled. Then I put a bevel or a round over on the edges and sand top and bottom with drum sander and orbital sander
