I was veggie for 35 years always afraid to go vegan cos of being laughed at and mocked by family who just don't get it and don't believe it's healthy but eventually nearly 4 years ago I decided I was going vegan and have never looked back. I love the fact no animal suffers for my food now and I wish I'd done it years ago. However I still suffer a lot of flack from family who think I'm mad but watching your videos really helps as i know I'm not alone in my beliefs. Your music is awesome too Jason. Keep up the great work you both do you're really getting the message across. ❤️

Thoroughly enjoyed this video, Jason. Interesting to see the process and see how it all comes together. You even got me singing mid-video when I paused it and nipped to the kitchen for pudding (Alpro Protein Yogurt over Frozen Berries). If you don't mind me saying, have a listen to Lullaby by Reef (from their Glow album 1997). I think you could pull off a melody like this with one of your songs. Good luck!

As a non-musician--does taking piano and clarinet lessons in grade school count?--I found this very interesting. It's both simpler than I thought it would be, and more complicated; understanding the technical recording stuff is like doing higher math to me, LOL! Thanks for posting 🙂

Be careful not to think too narrowly... not all tracks need to contain conventional instruments or have standard song structures... go wild, Jason, it helps keep things interesting for you and the listeners

Jason: it's interesting to compare your method to mine... when I want to craft an album, I start with the song names, lyrical theme, album art, track-by-track musical flow, and then sort the "details" (melody, instruments, individual song structures) as the next step (albeit the largest step)
