Been following you for a while, and loved watching your budgeteers Chanel with Thys and Lina. Have now been following you on your solo trip from the beginning and absolutely love it. Love how down to earth you are and how you show the good, the bad and the ugly. AND THAT FOOD AND THE VIEWS!! You always make me laugh and will be cheering me up this week, now that I have been told to self-isolate... Thank you for allowing me to travel from my sofa during these trying times... keep it up!

This episode is especially informative and interesting. I always wondered how KZbinrs take shots of themselves. Didn’t know you can synch & switch between two cameras. Also on flying the drone... I couldn’t figure out how you control the aerial shot with you in it without seeing you holding the remote. Thank you! You are the best KZbinr! Looking forward to your next adventure in Chumphon. p.s. Honda should give you a new Honda Dream with no string attached!
@mikev11443 жыл бұрын
He's not synching between the cameras themselves, but using the 'slate technique' to line up his videos later in post production. Much like a slate is used prior to filming a movie, a videographer can clap prior to shooting so that it would be easier lining up both video and audio tracks later in editing. For a simplified example look at Jared Polin's 'Why I clap before my videos' or search for 'slate video synching'.

I particularly liked this video, Paddy. It's great to see all your photo and video gear, and I liked the way you sync the camera and the GoPro. I didn't know you could do that. Basically there are two sorts of coffee bean sorts: Robusta and Arabica. One would mostly prefer 100% Arabica instead of a Robusta or a blend, as it is the more tasty and fine sort. Robusta is the easier to grow, elder and cheeper sort, which is why it is still present here and there... 😉🍀👍thanks for all of your phantastic takes!

Loved this video.. one of the best.. Always wondered how you cut from one angle to the other doing a frame match.. but you don't have to clap every time you have to do that do you? Microphones.. the external microphones are awesome.. is the one you first experimented with on our 2nd bike trip? Sounds familiar.. good product if so! Oh man those stray dogs.. so cute!!!! Petrol station operator and Thai police.. I have always had such great experiences too.. I love that the Thai culture is founded on respect, something that is often ignored or thought of as a privilege that a tourist should have.. and it is firmly based on Buddhism principles and culture.. can not emphasise enough how much that is awesome in this part of the world.. Yes, you are right, you don't know much about coffee 😂😂 anyone drinking an iced americano obviously doesn't 😂😂 really hope you got Dana something other than coffee lol.. coz that helmet is awesome, although aren't you boiling in it? I kept wondering you were nowhere close to Myanmar but then realised how much of that thin strip on the map belongs to Myanmar!!! Good geography lesson there! Here's one in return, did you know that if you continued further west for not very long, you would reach the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, which are a part of India!!?? Bloody geography innit 😂😂 Dude.. you were talking about unique temples and stuff.. and you (literally) struck GOLD with the "rock" and the Burmese style temple!! That rock is a replica of a similar one in Myanmar that people visit as one of the main sites in Myanmar!! It's called Kwaiktiyo Pagoda, and it's between Hpa-An and Yangon.. a little less than half way if coming from Hpa-An.. that glorious little town you introduced me to through your "Welcome to Myanmar" back in the day 😉 But of course, you cut to the food stall instead 😂😂 classic Padmeister move.. 🙄🙄 gawd that Somtum looked delicious though! Please be careful with the bike dude. On highways, dirt roads, and anywhere else.. and also, pls be careful climbing cliffs etc with cameras.. your really don't need that epic shot if it's dangerous. 👌👍🙏🤘🥳❤️

Thanks for sharing all that info Paddy. Much appreciated ... I thought your new helmet looked like it had an inbuilt camera in the pointy part and inbuilt microphones in the side parts. But it's just a helmet. Maybe I shouldn't hitchhike with Marty McFly from back to the future next time ... I'm currently trying to find a good editing android phone app but currently having to use two different apps just to do very average vids and they tend to decrease pixel quality ... I'm sure there must be just one single good android editing app. I want to avoid even owning a laptop if possible ... Maybe Marty McFly might come in handy afterall ... Thanks and Keep motoring Paddy
