Thanks for the links to those poly bags! I love those & always recycle them when I can, as they're quite expensive in NY, at least where I live. Great prices...duh don't know why it never occurred to me to look on Amazon!! (So pretty as well!) I'll have to see if they do the really big ones, those seem the hardest to find in the US. It's odd, every size stationery shop in the UK has such a variety so cheap (the UPS guy told me they can't seem to get the big ones either) they'd easily hold a shoebox! 🎸🎶😘⚡️Jet

hi, I don’t believe Depop is like having a job. It’s a good way to make money on the side but not as good as having a stable income. As a Depop seller myself, I don’t always get a lot of sales even though I have tons of items up, I’d be lucky to sell 2-3 things. Unless your account is popular and has 1000 reviews it’s hopeless for us small accounts

I am veryyy late but to answer your question yes you can make a stable income selling on depop. I know a lot of people who actually make a full time living selling on depop, you just have to be very successful and consistent.

Yes, you can. It takes time to get the customer base on poshmark. I have 100,000 customers after 2 years and I followed alot to get that many! I followed the same amount.:) I am trying to go full time with mercari, ebay, and poshmark. I am just now listing more on ebay after reviewing the shipping rules. Good luck to you! Agree. It bothers me when I receive items where the seller cheated by covering a priority box and shipping media mail or some cheaper way. Those of us who follow the rules end up paying more for our boxes to absorb the cost from all the cheaters. Not cool.

The priority boxes are "free" but included in the end cost, when USPS sets there prices. Recommending people cover the USPS box in butcher paper is recommending they violate federal law... and people misusing the boxes most likely will raise everyones shipping rate

Hi Rowena, poshmark uses only USPS priority right I don’t think we can use parcel or first class, I think it’s just priority mail... 🤷🏻‍♀️

hmmmmm wrapping those usps boxes was a great idea. i am having the biggest issues with shipping costs. trying to make a profit have competitive prices and deal with shipping hustles is a headache.

I sell on Mercari under the name Yesitsauthentic and whenever I make a sale and whether it is being shipped via FedEx or USPS all I do is forward the shipping label via email to my local FedEx store. You can do the same if you have a kinkos, UPS store ect closer to your home. They will print out labels for no fee if they are being shipped FedEx or they charge less than a quarter for labels that are being shipped USPS. I was freaking at first about this. Mercari is awesome, and the FedEx people know me on a first name basis now and rarely charge me at all. Remember, kindness will get you farther! Hope this helps.

i would like the seller and the buyer to consider the environment, this is utmost importance, and should be the screaming mantra in out heads all the time!!!! it's nice to have stickers, bling, bling, bells and whistles, but it contributes to the downfall of humanity. we must unleash creativity and think about limiting and the producing of trash...at least use recycled stuff as much as possible. but i love your simple and smart taste! and your presentation style is very easy to listen to and a pleasure!

If I'm shipping an item and already have the shipping label on the package (like the one you used in the video) can I just drop that package off at the counter at the local post office? I see people do it all the time. Or do I have to go up to the counter and pay any extra shipping costs? Also, is there a way to track the package to make sure it gets to where it needs to go? So Can you use the Priority box label flat rate that you can find free in the PO to ship Poshmark items? I looked on USPS and they have priority boxes but I just see mailing box on the front. For Poshmark use priority mail MAILING box. Do NOT use Flat rate box. Yes they are different. Poshmark states not to use the flat rate. Priority mail mailing boxes are free at USPS online or in your post office.
