Hi, We use the custom sku feature on ebay which match the boxes to track where items are stored.

So you print off 2 labels for each package??? Is that even nessacary? Sounds like a waste of time if you ultimately only need the shipping label.

I know eBay fees suck but I can grab an item from my glass case that’s been sitting for months in my store and sell it that same day on eBay. If I only depended on in store sales I would’ve gone under along time ago.

How do you prove to eBay you shipped the items?

USPS scans the shipment once it’s in their possession.

It's just like how you send a physical letter. You write the addresses and stuff on the box, and then you drop it off at the post office.

How do you determine shipping cost in the listing? Do you weigh the item and the expected box and packing materials before listing?

I personally do that with my listings. If it’s super lightweight I don’t bother weighing since it’ll typically be $5.
