As someone who's owned this car for 3 years before I got the N, doing a muffler delete is a terrible idea because rasp and drone. Lots of both. You WILL get headaches and get sick of the drone and rasp and the cabin will get filled with headache inducing drive at a certain rpm. I'd suggest adding resonators to it. I prefer vibrant. Not their short small resonators tho. I mostly sold mines because ecu tuning wasn't available for it. Then a few months later, tuning came out :/ . For coilovers, get silvers neomax of you want to retain comfort ESPECIALLY OVER BUMPS and potholes. Or go with yellow speed of you want sharp sharp handling over comfort over bumps. These 1.6T smart stream gamma engines are good. The 7 speed dry dct is uhhh finicky to say at least. I'd suggest a vibrant 17930 (2.5") in place of the muffler. Yes, it'll be very quiet during break in. It'll eventually become louder than stock just without the rasp and drove. Adding a downpipe will noticably increase acceleration and I'm not even joking here. It WILL pull much harder especially at the top end where it starts to suffer from. Yes I know there's a hybrid turbo available for these now actually. As for tired. Go up a size wider to 245s for better grip. As for wheels, Offset will need to be a maximum of et+45 because if you lower it, you may start to rub depending on how low you go and how much camera you add. There's actually a lot you can do with the N-line now. Just not as much as the N for now. As for JB4, it's iffy because the DCT may fail as the JB4 just tricks sensors. It's happened to some people in the N-line community group. Yes tuning for the smart stream platform is very new so I see a lot of improvements happening in the future. As of right now, it's still at its infant stage.

Thanks for your recommendations! It's supposed to be a fun, cheap, daily until I can get a dedicated project car back on the channel. I'm confident that it will fulfill its purpose very easily!

@KarzKreated I did make a list on Hyundai forums for parts that are available for these including... Basically every current gen Elantra. Should be in the CN7 (2021+) Elantra section and it's pinned at the top. Tons of stuff available

man technology have come a long way. Subaru ECUs are really limited in terms of tuning back in the day and most resort to a standalone ECU box once your Boxer engine is highly modified. And to monitor your car, you basically throw all kinds of gauges in the dash making your ride look almost like an airplane with all those steampunk gauges

That technology has also made modern cars ridiculously expensive to fix and modify! But they have definitely come a long way.

Get an Amazon throttle controller. They are cheap and it will fix the turbo lab like a mofo without tuning it

The JB4 will take care of that 🙂
