That’s a great time on some seriously rugged terrain! I’m doing my first 100k this weekend in Florida. Let’s go!!

Well done! I can comprehend the brutality of the wall. My 1st 50miler was a loop & each lap had a 2.5 mile 4,000 ft climb.. The terrain was horrendous, switch backs initially & then just straight line up while trying not to slide backwards. So many people dropped each lap, understandably they didn’t have it in them to face another climb

Your feet almost looked like mine after being in the jungles of Vietnam for 69 days during monsoon. Not to mention the leeches. You definitely have to take care of your feet. Healthy feet equal a healthy run.

I’m curious about those feet and what you can attribute it to. Obviously water, but wondering about your shoes and whether they were waterproof or poor draining shoes? Also what socks you wore, synthetic vs wool? I am prone to skin like yours when wet. And I did a Spartan this fall which it rained well in advance of the race and throughout the entire race, and the whole course was underwater. However my feet did not look like yours at all. Maybe just the difference in time? I was only out there 1 hour 45, so could be the biggest factor.

That 500mg sodium translates to 1.25 grams of table salt which is quite a lot :D considering around 5grams is the upper limit per day. you dont need that much to prevent cramps

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame” Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” Luke 19:10 God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! 🕊💗 Jesus genuinely loves you, and is always waiting for you to come to Him ❤️
