As much as there is a KZbin algorithm people still gravitate to personality. I've learned that people like value. What can you teach them? What Can you teach them about themselves? Are you able to connect? As long as the value is coupled with consistency it helps. I have videos that range from 100K to 25 views. But I never planned to reach specific views it simply was based on how helpful or how connected viewers were to my content. Your content is so informative and helpful. Thank you! 🙏💕

As someone who is studying communications as well it’s refreshing to hear you talk about how your experience “off camera” is different than perceived experience “on camera”. You may not have many videos, but you can tell the work was put in well before your first video came out just from the life you’ve lived. You’ve continued to analyze your progress and with that your content keeps getting better and better. It must have been lonely starting out on a platform with a skill you knew you had but the online world didn’t. Thanks Erin, congrats!!! 🎉

Yasss Erin! Your points are so valid, and I appreciate you starting out with "on camera presence is a skill". There was always something that drew me into your content as you are so funny, relatable, and eloquent. It put things in perspective when you highlighted that developing screen presence is a learned skill that took some time. I'm starting out my KZbin journey and I definitely still feel awkward on camera, but all I can do is continue to practice practice practice and try to churn out valuable content. Like they say, it takes 10000 hours to become expert at something! Thank you and please continue to make great videos.

Growing it organically without ANY paid promotion would no way get you to 100k in one solid year. Most of my videos have got views and subscribers through having a popular product I have used and shown in the video e.g my hair videos have given me a lot of views and interest big time! I do car vlogs and other stuff, I mainly focus on things I enjoy doing but no I haven't reached up to 100k yet seems like a big steep goal, I will try though!

That last part when you said maybe the method to help us grow hasn't been done yet, you became my favorite! I can definitely stop trying to make everything 110% perfect before I do it and just put my best foot forward and see what does or doesn't work for me as I go along, I feel like I know to know everything about something before I start.

I am so here for everything you're sharing! I love that you're open about the growth you had developing your experience before you even started on youtube. It's easy to watch and think it just comes super easy to you. Thanks for all you share.

I'm a growing youtuber too and the "what am i doing wrong" question once hit me at the beginning. Most especially cos I'd never been in the media world, never had any on-camera experience and absolutely zero editing skills. But since I chose to go at my own pace and focus on making editing a hobby, i found myself always wanting to make more videos and my channel's been growing; slowly but steadily :)

Thank You so much for this Erin! Im just starting out on KZbin and I find myself constantly feeling pressured to have thousands of subscribers and being perfect like some of my favorite youtubers. often times I find myself comparing to others, which obviously isn't very helpful. I would say my biggest struggle right now with KZbin is staying consistent and staying true to myself, my time will come and I need to just keep working hard until I get there!

I love the way you addressed this question. You broke it all the way down. I remember reading it in the eBrand club and the first thing I thought of is it’s your work ethic. You have great discipline and it’s clear in your channel and club! Thanks for teaching us and always keeping it real. You deserve all the success!

Hi Erin, HUGE CONGRATS on your growth! It’s super encouraging 😊. We found you last month after we Googled “Creator on The Rise” and your video came up! We got chosen as ‘Creator on The Rise’ last month after 7 months of creating. Tracing your growth since you were chosen has been SUPER INPIRING. We like your energy, creativity and fun style and value your experience and journey😀. Thank you for sharing huge value in this video. Much

Actually I have noticed people who talk about growing KZbin accounts do grow faster than others on KZbin. So whether or not they do something great they naturally get views and subscription, be it that KZbin pushes it or people just searching alot of videos teaching them how to make it on KZbin. So it's high demand and doesn't come as a surprise if anyone who posts such content grows faster than others.

I believe that I am a part of the group of small KZbinrs who focus on the numbers. This is just my second time starting a channel and I really want this to be a part of my life. But, the numbers; they make me question what it is that I am doing wrong. I ask for engagement in the comments and get very little. I ask for criticism and receive nothing. So, yes, my fault is paying attention to the numbers.
@TierraMarrieee4 жыл бұрын
I constantly look at my watch hours. It now shows your progress on a speedometer and I just constantly check to see if it's moved from it's last spot. I just really want to reach that threshold. I learned that I didn't have to start over the way that I did. I made an entire new channel. I researched and realized that I didn't need to do that. But because I was focused and still focus on the numbers, I did it.

Amazing info 🙌🏾 I started at 0 subs now on the road too 500!! My aunt tried to say I been on here a year and haven’t grown. But I disagree. KZbin is a marathon. Some channels grow faster than others. But I’m never giving up 💪🏾
