Heyy😊 I couldn't tell exactly what to use for real locs, however, for faux locs, Jam is good. You can get it at any local beauty supply store. Every location should have it!

Another way is to use flatirons but not a lot, a lady made a video on it

It should depends on how u installed the hair

I wouldn't necessarily use it on wings mainly because it's not like the hair is capable of getting new growth. Its specifically for people who's hair are actively growing out. You know?

Another way to trim is taking a lighter to it. Burns them frizz Hairs off real quick

Carine Dorelien I do it with my braids!! However it doesnt look as great as the lock cause you're not following the same patterns. I would suggest just braiding the hairline. But when I find out a different way, I'll make a video

Why not use a little black gel and palm roll each loc instead of those pesky scissors!!!

Good question!! hahaha. It's cause the locs were very old, and the type of hair I used to install it is very tough. This means no matter what hair product I use to tame it, all the fly aways will flare right back up the next day. Especially if I'm wearing sweaters that love lint. lol I hate using scissors, but I prefer the longer term results.
