Very dope results here, Carter. Handheld run-and-gun cinematography is my fave. I also prefer minimal camera gear & crew, if any I may have one person with me to assist and/or keep an eye on our belongings. Keep up the good work mate and Happy New Year!

This day looks like everything is shot with gimbal. Shoulder rig is definitely a refresh look bring back that movie feel. I do think gimbal is over used now. Good to see this and remind myself not shoot everything with gimbal.

I very rarely use a gimbal, agree they're over used 👍🏼

I was going to ask why no follow focus, but your explanation for focus AND exposure all done with one hand makes a lot off sense for this type of shoot. What VND are you using and if constant adjustment takes a toll on them?

Hiya, I use a Tiffen Variable - I tend not to need to adjust it while shooting, I check my exposure first for each setup.
