Here in Australia you hardly see brown skin people, depending where you live though. My communication skill helps me stay relevant especially at work. Even with my Nigerian accent, I still train every single staff in my organisation across the nation both new and old staff. I got to the position not only with my qualifications but with my deep communication skills and the way I dress and carry myself at work. Don't just talk for the sake of talking, talk with great insight whenever you have the opportunity. When your colleagues are willing to listen to you, it shows you are relevant.
