Just another ( promise quick thought ) do you have anything on rightly dividing the word because that is important. One of the reasons we get so messed up is that we get the old covenant and the New covenant mixed up and we forget that a lot of what Jesus was saying was to Jews under the law. Same with the likes of Paul and the other troopers. They were speaking to specific people at specific times. Do you have any Videos that go in to depth on that all or do you know of any good free resources to help ( apart from Holy Spirit ) lol. Kind regards and with love from UK Steve.

Thank you. I know that I'm on the spiral momentum downward and that my obsession with food is spiritual. Hearing you verbalizing your observation of time, eating healthy and JUST DOING IT when it comes to being disciplined is so helpful to my getting back on track to a healthy lifestyle and walk with the Lord. It has been a continual battle, the enemy knows how to derail me. Thanks, again. Habakkuk. Then Hebrews and Leviticus together. I enjoy the First Five devotion by Proverbs 31 Ministry.

Cindy, I am 42 and I am right there with you. I gave my life to Jesus not very long ago and I'm still so new to this! I'm reading the Bible but digging into individual chapters from cover to cover. So far, I'm at Genesis 34 XD I may finish before I make it to 102, but I'm not holding my breath.

@@erindreams1790 I started reading the Bible using a reading plan. It was Old Testament, psalm and New Testament each day. I’m finding that I don’t get the full picture of what is happening because it jumps around each day so now I am going to try front to back. Lol.

I know this was posted a month ago, but I happen to be going through a season where I’m literally craving to read the Bible. I’ve never done a Bible study before and I started following you recently and skipped this video since I wasn’t that interested in the topic.. but all of a sudden I have this feeling that I can’t get enough of Jesus and I came back for this video since I need to start reading the Bible💕 I am in awe that I have done that before whenever I was a reading a verse and a got the urge to look it up even if it was a word that we normally use like grace, hope and faith. And it does makes a difference when you understand what God is trying to tell us though those words. Thank you for being such a wonderful person and for all that you do, it does inspire and motivate us🤗

This has blessed me. When I was at Biola I was studying the word regularly, attending church and chapel multiple times a week, and very connected with my spiritual disciplines. But in the past years since graduation it has been much harder to keep up these disciplines and I have begun to feel lost without the community and structure I had there. Biola is such a wonderful and unique place and once you leave the real world can distract you so much from what you learned there. But, I am blessed to have found your videos and be reminded of these truths I learned there and be inspired to get back to these habits.

What helped me, is realizing (through the Holy Spirit) that we as humans need spiritual food for our souls just as much or maybe even more than we do physical food for our bodies, and the way to feed our souls is by reading the Word of God and it also helps to fast so our sinful (fleshly) nature wont be as strong against our souls in their daily war against one another. Once I realized how good God is, because all of his commandments and promises and even his no's are covered in love and not meant to be burdens but to simply help us remain spiritually pure and healthy. Be blessed and encouraged. I hope her advice helps you too

Hey Kaci.......all of your points are right on...... I was like wow she knows every reason......This is exactly what Jesus criticized the Pharisees for in the opening verses. There have been days when I didnt feel as much like reading it but I always do anyway. You will definitely notice that something is not right if you dont read it. As you read the bible the Holy Spirit opens up your heart and mind and makes you feel alive. It can help you make good decisions, make real friends, so many things, and best of all, learn the truth about God. The Bible’s advice comes from God, so you can never go wrong following it....... Cant wait to hear your next one.......Dan ヅ❤

When your life is BITTER SCARY TERRIFYING and the only time you're ever refreshed is when you have that Bible open... The book of Psalms...the Proverbs... Genesis... all the new testament pages... Exodus... it comes alive. its the sweetest peace and He speaks to you THROUGH every verse and page and shows you how it matches up to real life time prophetically in between under over and around air tight ways that gives you wisdom to navigate through some seasons you never thought you'd ever been in. Thats how you love the Word... you can open it and it means nothing but good words but when you're really IN a season... He opens up parables and scriptures to you so you know its not by your own good will or thoughts but He is sovereign over every circumstance good and bad in your life. Seek and you shall find. Press in.

If I try to read the bible 10min a day gor a weak, where should I start? The reason I do this is to let God enter more in my life. I called my self a christian but I didn't really let God control my life, I didn't really feel his presence so I didn't care a lot about his plan for me, about following him. Holy words long preserved for our walk in this world, They resound with God's own heart Oh, let the Ancient words impart. Words of Life, words of Hope Give us strength, help us cope In this world, where e'er we roam Ancient words will guide us Home. Ancient words ever true Changing me, and changing you. We have come with open hearts Oh let the ancient words impart. Holy words of our Faith Handed down to this age. Came to us through sacrifice Oh heed the faithful words of Christ. Holy words long preserved For our walk in this world. They resound with God's own heart Oh let the ancient words impart. Ancient words ever true Changing me, and changing you. We have come with open hearts Oh let the ancient words impart. Ancient words ever true Changing me, and changing you. We have come with open hearts Oh let the ancient words impart. Ancient words ever true Changing me, and changing you. We have come with open hearts Oh let the ancient words impart. Ancient words ever true Changing me, and changing you. We have come with open hearts Oh let the ancient words impart. We have come with open hearts Oh let the ancient words impart.

You can also lose a love for the bible due to how you are taught in church circles. You can be taught that it all about duty and performance based. So if you are taught that way and not that it will bring you joy, peace, you will get to know God better, among other great things, then you won't have this passion for it.

I see you have a guitar in the back there ( that is a musicians hat if ever I saw one) I play saxophones myself. I love good voices and guitars but I would love to see more creativity in a lot the worship music out there. Sad to say but christian music does not have a good reputation when it comes to connecting with the outside world. That is really heavy on my Heart and another thing that is Heavy on my Heart is that I feel at times we focus so much on the teaching of Jesus but we forget the salvation of the Trinity and we treat Jesus on the cross like God is up there while His son is on Earth going through pain unimaginable where as I would like to see more expansion on the work of the Trinity and how the Father son and Holy Spirit were working together to save us. If this is the wrong place to bring that up I am sorry. Maybe looking in to the nature of the Father Son and Spirit and how they work together for our salvation ( The controversial book and recent movie the Shack comes to mind ) could be a suggestion for a future video .Loving the Video so far, Peace and love all the way from UK...Steve.
