OMG! I got my hair cut for the summer and unbeknownst to me, I cut it the same length as Nikol's and yesterday morning, trying a "spray hairspray on roots of part and flipping the hair the other way" trick to get some lift on top, I realized I suddenly had a facsimile of Nikol's gorgeous hairstyle! My hair structure is a lot like yours! I did purchase the Dyson blow dryer and it's really helped my hair. I can change the heat and the air flow which is a game changer for me. It also has the attachments that are magnetic which great and you can spin them around in different directions with the round brush.

Hi Nikol from Newcastle Australia. I have just been looking for a new hair dryer, when I came across a lady talking about the Zuvi and then I read every single comment. The majority of comments were absolutely in favour of this stuningly simple and beautifully designed dryer. I compared it to the Dyson. Nearly all that had used and owned the Dyson including many long time hairdressers preferred and loved the Zuvi. Then I you tubed on how to use the Zuvi. I like to curl my hair, I bought a TYMO curling wand that blows cool hair the sun whole time, & I set it next to the lowest setting. I also use a heat protection spray. Thanks again for sharing more knowledge. ❤

I didn’t know this brand of hair dryer existed! The bundle package is an amazing price. I just bought the Bio Ionic Smart dryer. It is also lightweight, but has a 10 year warranty so I expect it to last a long time.

I'm in my 4th year going grey and I absolutely love it! I never thought it would turn out so lovely, and it being on my head was even more surprising! It is so true, you really do have to take care of your grey but you you know what? It's become therapeutic for me. When I contemplated getting a new blow dryer, I went right to my favorite source - Nikol. I fell in love with the Zuvi and ordered it right away. It was delivered very quickly and I couldn't wait to try it. Since my hair is thick and tends to frizz, I always dry it by section when it's towel/Turbi-Twist dry. This process is different - course dry it to about 80% dry. I followed the directions and my hair looked like it usually does and in record time - this baby is fast! Success! But as the day went on, the style didn't stay the same and the wave/fullness came back. I sadly had to return it. I just want people to know that if you have issues with your hair like I do (I don't have the beautiful, non-frizz hair that Nikol has), it probably won't work. I need a good amount of heat from the start. 😪

You were my inspiration! My "Grayversary," is in August (six years!), and I thought once I stopped dyeing my hair I wouldn't need to do anything else. I try to limit heat tools, and I found an excellent at-home Keratin treatment for de-frizzing: Keratin Salon Direct. It's extremely cost-effective when you compare the price to a salon treatment. I've been using it every three to four months for a year and my hair is not damaged. There are two versions: I use the treatment that requires a flat iron to seal the treatment (but I use the lowest setting on a Dyson flat iron because high-heat yellows my white hair). There is also a "no flat iron," treatment for curls/waves (it's not a straightener, but it will relax curls/waves a bit). I figured I would share this in case anyone wanted to try it :)

I have been your fan since I discovered our Fierce aging series during the pandemic....You are so kind, intelligent and beautiful. I bought the Hair Biology for my short silver hair and really like it. My hair stylist told me to be careful because some of the purple products use daily (and I wash my hair daily) can eventually turn the white lavender and dull.......do you know if this product is recommended for daily use or not? Great video Nikol! I truly relate about pulling away from the ridiculously hot blow drying sessions at the salon. Seems so contradictory to what I am trying to achieve using the right products. I also have had the gall to bring my own blow dryer but they do NOT like it. They say it’s not strong enough to straighten my hair.

I think it's important to do what is right for your hair regardless of what the stylists like or don't like. I understand as a professional makeup artist and esthetician that it's not always ideal to have a client bring in their products etc, but I always accommodate since I feel the client knows their skin, hair, what makeup works best etc.

You look beautiful. My hair fell out completely when I had Covid andI had to get a pixie haircut when it started coming back. Now I am in the process of growing out the pixie to get to your length. It has been a slow go but I am not in a short bob. So little by little getting to your length. Thank you for this video. I notice that the Shu emera is mainly purple and so is the HB. Isn't that adding too many purple shampoos? My grey hair doses absorb a lot of the purple. Nikol, I’m in my late 60s and I had colored my hair for years. On 12/24/21, I had a brain aneurysm, and I was in the hospital for quite awhile and in house for a month after coming home. After all that time my hair had grown out significantly. Luckily, to my doctors shock, other then some weakness in my legs and a very insignificant memory loss, I am totally healthy. My hairdresser worked with me with regular trims and finally, this spring it’s completely grown out. It’s more white than gray, actually kind of boring, I’m just glad it’s not yellow/white like my Mom’s was. Do you recommend the same types of products for the white hair? I’m sure the care is the same, I just wanted to make sure. Your hair is beautiful, and really appreciate your help.

I also have white hair. I find purple shampoo makes my hair look grey. I have better success with a blue shampoo. It seems to brighten the white colour. Like Nikol, I don’t use it every shampoo. Maybe every other shampoo. I like the AG blue shampoo or Aveda blue.

I became aware of the problem of extreme heat but I couldn’t afford the dysan so I got T3 heated brush. I can control the heat and like how quickly I can style my hair. Way too many products, tools, brushes and effort for me. I value simple routines, less stuff, being low maintenance, but that's just me. Minimal effort and stuff for me. For special occasions, dif story for sure. I really do like Nikol's eye make up techniques, tho. Excellent suggestions.

Hi Nikol, how do you get the Velcro rollers to hold the style? Is your hair still slightly warm when you put them in, or is it just the hairspray you use, plus leaving them in a while that gets your hair to retain the volume from them? Thanks so much for your tips!! ❤

Hi you have to make sure your hair is dry not damp when you use the Velcro Curlers. I put them in right after I take a section and blow dry it. The first one I put in at the top of my head I will secure with a clip the rest stay in my hair without clips.

Question about the dryer. I have naturally wavy hair that I have to dry with heat to straighten it. Trouble is the dryers I've used get way too hot but the cool setting is so cool it doesn't dry or smooth my hair. How would you compare the heat settings on this compared to a typical dryer? You will get the right amount of heat with the Zuvi Halo because of the light technology. You will not be over heating the hair and you have the option of the cool setting at the end to seal in the style. Hi Nikol, I have never followed anyone online before, until you. I really respect what you advise and appreciate your positive words for older women. Since I do listen to you, I bought the Dyson Airwrap. For me that was a huge sum of money for a blow dryer. Considering our hair is so similar I jumped in and made the investment. I was truly disappointed to see you have switched products as I thought you went to the Dyson for the similar reason you are promoting with the Zuvi Haylo. Please tell me why you switched?

My Grey hair is A LOT of work. I also thought it would be easier. I just had detox treatment at the salon. It definitely helped. I have also had good luck rotating purple shampoo, scalp serums & hair growth serums (due to alopecia). I’ve switched to diffusing my hair on cool. I can’t use any hot tools at all. Thanks for sharing your routine… afraid to use Velcro curlers, because my hair is so fragile. Do you recommend for people with very fine fragile hair?
