Glitch only appears when a room is corrupted, so let's say you enter a room and it's loading, but the generation of it goes bad, so Glitch has to "fix" it. It's a smart way of getting around glitches and bugs. It also used to teleport you to the rest of the group in multiplayer when you were far back and take scaling amount of damage from as little as Timmothy to half health. It's now been replaced with the entity called "Void".

Glad someone finally mentioned how great the music is in Doors. I can't get over some of the tracks, they're just so damn good. Best one for me easily has to be 'Curious Light' that plays when you die in The Rooms. Dunno what exactly it is about it. It's eerie, distant and echo-ey enough to match the setting but still a really calm and comforting track to hear after dying in easily the most stressful area in the game.

Though otherwise I have to be basic and say I love all the variations of Dawn of the Doors, the way its scalability is used in areas like Jeff's Jingle and the end animation is so fun. Edit: Oh, damn, that's so ambient and almost smoothing! Also, Curious Light definitely has the chord progression of Dawn of the Doors in it, so it's now in my top 5.

Actually, for those who want to get a full functioning semi-remake of spooky's jumpscare mansion in roblox, there's actually a game called "A Really Big Fricking House" that was directly inspired by Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion except its a house and it has 1000 rooms to get through (each checkpoint being every 100 rooms). It's really fun and it replicates that style almost perfectly so go check it out after you play doors.

I was almost softlocked in room 100 cause of figure (Hotel+ update), they kept going in and out of one of the inner rooms, one my wardrobe was facing the entrance to, but luckily I was with someone else so they were able to distract them. Though I might've been able to leave it and go to the next door wardrobe when they went in, I didn't want to risk it.

i got some tips here: figure's path is randomized every run to a set path, he will occasionally go to the upper part of the library, even if he is close to you, you don't need to hide as long as he isn't going directly towards you. there are also some safe places in the library but i won't list them as i can't explain exactly where they are. usually it's a good idea to wait for guiding light in dark lever rooms so you don't waste your flashlight/lighter/candles energy/power. A-90 will freeze A-120 temporarily and will slow A-60 temporarily, use this as a reminder that you don't need to rush to a locker if they any 2 of them attacks at the same time. you can use a lockpick in door 100 to the room with the elevator power thingy, once the figure cutscene is done you can hide in there but i personally recommend that you go to the middle left room. if you find and buttons/fuses/switches/batteries at door 100 and aren't speedrunning i suggest you wait for guiding light to light it up so you know where they are without being confused. my last tip is that the door 100 switches/buttons/fuses/batteries can also spawn up at the elevator room. good luck everyone and don't die! bonus tips i forgot/got from replies: the figure in the library speeds up with the more books you have, it will begin going faster at 4 books but once you reach all 8 he will go even faster. i also found out from someone in the replies that A-60 gets slowed down from A-90 not temporarily but permanently until it despawns. good luck!

from my experience figure always has the same path but making noise alters his path(going into the right side of the bottom floor which he would normally ignore, squeezing through the corner on the left side of the exit door which he would normally never do, walking over the table that has the paper which normally he would also ignore) as when i got all 8 books undetected figure would go through the same path he always do but when i opened drawers near him or getting too cocky with my walking then his path would change. i noticed he also gets stuck alot more in a run where i made noise compared to undetected which also adds a bit to the assumption that his path changes when hearing noise

I'm guessing the reason why you were encountering so many glitch's, bugs and the softlocks after, in and before door 50 is cause of the hotel+ update, once it released, the game met a huge, and I mean HUGEE number of bugs. Its been about a week later, and there's still quite a bit of bugs to be fixed lol.

Here is a bit of advice for dupe, if you can’t remember the door, inch towards either door the real door will open at a certain range, but with dupe you have to get very very close, if the door is locked and it’s a dupe room try listening to the door

I love Doors. The devs should really update it more often if possible since it would easily be a top game on roblox with over a million every update. The sad thing is, it can get beaten so easily when you've played it enough times. At the time i've written this comment, I've beaten it with getting every badge (Yes even A-1000, I was around the 9000th person to get it.)

My strat for door 50 to get around it is really simple. I can get around almost every glitch possible. Once the room starts, head to the left, follow figure, grab any books there and grab the paper. Then, head back where you came and go to the right, clear that out. Now, wait for Figure to leave, then go upstairs. Clear the upstairs area out, find the code, and leave. If you can memorize figure's pattern like I did, it makes room 50 much less difficult. If you know when figure will notice you, then you're fine. Figure wouldn't have noticed you at 9:21 because he never goes back there. He heard you entering the closet and it triggered the minigame. Once you learn figure's behaviors, you can learn when to be cautious and when to be risky and you can beat door 50 every time. What happened to you wouldn't have happened to me because I just don't hide or even get noticed. Also, when figure is far enough, and you have 3 or less books, you can walk.

I also had bad experience at door 50, I played with my 2 friends, we knew what to do and after a while we opened the door, my friends has gone through and I was right behind them, but the door JUST LITERALLY CLOSED in front of my face, after that figure instantly GPS-tracked me and started to chase me. I hooped into the closet and got the heartbeat minigame and guess what, IT TOTALLY BROKE, the half hearts started to spawn like bilion times per second so I basically died. My worst nightmare 💀💀💀

I absolutely love doors, and I’m genuinely sad I can’t play it to the fullest. I don’t do well with horror games, and it’s hard to find people to play with on multiplayer. But I played it recently and got through door 50 literally first try, the Figure’s AI is dumb as rocks as long as you stay crouched and keep note of where they don’t cycle to. I sadly didn’t finish that run, I got really bad anxiety on door 77 and let seek kill me so I could take a break, but I’m genuinely proud of how far I got all things considered.

Same thing happened to me. I don't do well with horror games and usually I start shaking very hard when I play them. When I finished Door 50 for the first time with a random player (it took us 20 minutes because I was scared to collect books), the player left the game without saying anything so I died to Seek on purpose in door 74 because I was too scared to play alone. Right now I'm getting better at Doors and aren't that scared of Figure as I used to but the only problem I have with door 50 is when I was trying to get the paper with the code, the other player collected too many books so Figure gets very fast and I couldn't reach upstairs in time so I die. I think I should try getting the paper with the code at the beginning first before collecting books next time.

ive noticed that figure's AI is really buggy at times, but he usually has a specific path he follows unless he hears noise, so if you and someone else are on the second level behind a bookshelf, just stay behind there and you should be fine! :D

Hi Uhyeah! I would like to share some knowledge from player to player because I think it may help you in the near future. First off Figure can be stealthed the whole way through. All you gotta do is crouch the whole game and basically have your friends tell you of his current location like: “He’s up!” or “He’s down!” Because teamwork like that makes it pretty smooth sailing. Also for Dupe you can get a little bit close to a duplicate door and hear scratching at this said door. So if you hear the light scratching on the door then that’s the dupe door. This sadly can’t be done for all doors but most of them can be cheesed like this. Good luck if you plan to get the Rooms “???” Badge because it’s gonna take you two hours of patience. abt dupe, you can also stand near the door against a wall listening for a heartbeat. sometimes you can also hear rain coming from the correct door. another thing is if you scoot a bit closely to the incorrect door it wont open immediately, but correct doors will.

Funny fact: Glitch isn't an actual "entity". He's a failsafe in case the game fails to load a room; if that happens, Glitch jumpscares you and puts you into the room properly.

I was unfortunately spoiled of everything before the hotel+ update, so my only true scare was rooms 90-100 being the greenhouse, Dupe existing, the crucifix and sans key (I actually used the crucifix on Dupe the first time I found him on accident cause I held it everywhere lol.) And the last thing that was new was the final challenge. I don't mind being spoiled on mechanics but it would have been kinda cool to shit myself with fear on my first playthroughs instead of making it to like room 98 on my first time.

Not a great way to avoid it considering that Doors' Doors triggering hitboxes are janky, so you can accidentally open it from like 5 miles away. If you open the door, Dupe will attack you no matter what. So instead of doing that, it's better to count the Rooms.

I can't really tell wether this changes when it's on multiplayer but at least for solo one thing that I have realised is that it honestly feels like the Room 50 closets are nothing but a trap than anything, as long as you never take a step when not crouched Figure never will know where you are and for some reason with his pathing he never goes to the right side of the library unless you trigger him therefore that's a "safe" spot, though I have to admit those were some extremely entertaining shenanigans and although the heart beat minigame did not seem toooo hard at least from the one and only time I had experienced I don't think I would ever last THAT long so props to your Emergency Alpha Gamer mode!

Sadly for me my computer is a bit weird when running Doors so I can't really play it all that much. I know it's weird to complain about Roblox of all things being demanding, but rooms tend to struggle to load on my PC often result in lights visually flickering... even when Rush has not been triggered. Similarly the lights sometimes just don't flicker properly when Rush *is* triggered. It makes it super hard to progress very far but that's ultimately on my end.

I feel like Figure should check empty closets time to time, and maybe even a chance to outright not visit the closet you're in if you get in it when he's away. Because how Figure works is to check the closet when there is a player in it, meaning if you stand outside of it he won't come towards you. Oh yeah fun fact: Dupe can be hear making sounds outside the door, just incase you forget or the room is dark.

Figure getting stuck on bookshelves is pretty common, but I've just decided to headcanon it as "it's blind and doesn't know why it's stuck so it needs a sec to get unstuck", and it got stuck on the bookshelf as a result of not being able to see, AND it kept hearing Uhyeah's breathing because of said "being stuck on bookshelf" situation. Essentially this: "I'm stuck. Why am I stuck. I can hear someone breathing, I should check for them." Rinse and repeat until it finally went after Cam and got unstuck.

One of my favorite roblox games is isle, its not really a horror game and it takes bit to get into but there's miles and miles of content in it and if you want a horror game that mainly focuses on the spoops and scares try out frigid dusk

Dupe is my absolute favorite entity. He really tests if you’re paying attention, he synergizes well with other entities that take time to beat like Ambush or Seek, and it’s funny as hell watching your teammates get duped (I like baiting and gaslighting my friends into getting duped : ] ). Also, gotta love a dark Screech room that’s also a Dupe room.

Pre-update, me and a friend got to this point and I swear to god the figures ai was bugged, it would know exactly where he was at all times, and will only stop chasing him if he hides in a closet... for about 5 seconds. Then he's back to chasing, we literally couldn't complete the padlock because of this. Its commendable how buggy 50 is and how bad you can be boned if last one standing

idk if this had been said, but to my knowledge, Figure will b-line for the closet if you enter it, and after the minigame is done, you have a "cooldown" of sorts before he arrives back if your still in the closet

i play doors alot and after a while i noticed during door 50 there are spots that figure that doesnt come to. one spot is upstairs, by just hiding all the way back to the wall near the closet (the closet you see right when you get upstairs) so you dont have to hide in it. the second one is in the corner of the room upstairs, the room on the left when you get upstairs, by the plant. i dont know if these work with multiplayer since i usually play alone or with one other person but i would say its easier than doing the heart minigame

when i first tried DOORS with my friends, the two monsters that took us the longest to understand were Ambush, and the weird guy that puts you into this blueish hallway, but that was months ago and i havent yet seen the new update

Did you know that you can press Q/E when you have to survive Figure in a closet? Makes the breathing so much easier and helped me survive every encounter when the new update came around.

i solo door 50 every time, the way i do it is just memorize the pattern figure moves through, so if hes near you. you know where to hide and also wait more for the "guiding light" to make it easier to find books, once i find 4/5 books, i just put random numbers on the book that needs to be found

it may seem hard, but once you get the hang of figure's pathfinding, you'll complete every doors playthrough you do.

7:49 Unless you’re on mobile! Then it’s baby game. I can currently only play on mobile, and the hardest problem I have with this fight is that my in-game audio sometimes breaks, and I end up not being able to hear Figure stomping around. Other than that, not too hard once you learn the basics, and where you can hide at (not in a cabinet/locker) where Figures hitbox can’t hit you. Also tip: *Stay always from his arms. **_They count as his hitbox._*
