Those computer origins really take me back. My first computer was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum in 1983. First games were Breakout and Jet Set Willy. Kids these days will never know the struggle of trying to load a game from a cassette tape! 😅

This was well worth the wait! Sadly Raj's old GTi isnt on the road anymore, that was a smart move on Tottenham Court Road. 🙌🙌 Was very good seeing how CAS became a thing and how it evolved! 🔥🔥No way Raj wanted to spend less on cars with his extensive garage 😂 but it does make sense in the context he was saying.

Great video Raj and Parm. I used to work on TCR between 1999-2004 during college and uni days. Worked for the Shah brothers, based at No 42, Shasonic. They also had other shops, PNR, Musical Images etc....they also opened a Sony Galleria (first in Europe from memory). Anyway a great watch, well done!

Oh yes Parm who used to do me some serious deals on OZ Futuras at CAR Hanwell and Raj who never disappointed with the best stereos, I think I still have my Denon Dolby C cassette that was fitted in my Silver Rose …… Great memories, and proof that hard work pays, sleepless nights the norm, they see you living large today not realising the sacrifices and hard work we used to put in …… Kudos guys

I’m probably much the same as Raj eith the talk of the Sinclair computer making me feel ancient 🤣 I’ve never been into car audio but always been into cars , the collection you have keeps bringing me back , last years challenge of a new car every month was class , I always wondered how selling stereos can let you build up a mass of vehicles but what I’ve just listened to pretty much someday it up …….. graft over many years , kudos man , you’ve done well 👏🏻

I bought a really good Head unit from Raj for my old Mazda 323. A Pioneer DEH-P series. I remember getting a really good Panasonic head unit from Shasonic. 6 ch pre outs matched witha 6ch 1100 watt JBL amp and JBL 12 inch subwoofer and 6.5 inch components. Everyone went with the usual suspects Kenwood and Pioneer, but that Panasonic head unit blew my mind for the functions and price. Great story. Who remembers the go-to alarms...Toad AI606 and Clifford Concept 50. Good old days!

I went to City Poly back in 1990 or 91. Did some sort of computer course in the basement of the building at Tower Hill. 😂 Bought my first TV from from a shop on TCR. A massive 21” Sony that weighed a tonne.
