I use an echo trimmer and backpack blower typically but for small projects I use a kress battery trimmer and a cheap but efficient Bauer blower from harbor freight. Each has its pros and cons.

how do you stay so young, man? You almost never get old!

I am getting older. I had a birthday last week

@@lawncarelifeNo, brother. You’re not getting older; you’re getting better! As a 23-year-old married guy, I started my lawn care business just a couple of weeks ago. I can’t express how much your videos, created over the years, have helped me. You’re truly a role model and an inspiration for an entire generation.

I've migrated to all battery equipment as a residential user on a .3 acre lot with one exception: my string trimmer mower for the brush behind my property. I use a mix of Makita and Milwaukee equipment that I get when there are sales. As you noted for specialty equipment, the convenience of battery is tough to beat. For someone who does mowing/trimming professionally though, I don't know how they could migrate from gas.

For my private residential use, I think having a battery blower, line trimmer, hedger and a gas lawn mower is the ideal mix.

Redmax is excellent. I was using an echo srm-225 weed whacker and I switched to the redmax. Much better imo. I currently have an echo backpack blower, but when I can, I’ll be switching to a redmax blower as well. After hearing you speak about how powerful that little Milwaukee trimmer is, it’s peaked my interest and just may consider in the future. Good video sir. Thank you. Have a good one

I haven't tried a RedMax trimmer in a while. I would like to try one. I love their blowers

Great content! I got really frustrated with gas-powered equipment recently because I'm a casual user and don't store it correctly (100% my fault). Lately I'm only buying electric stuff because it fits my needs better (basic home owner). Tks!

That's my thoughts on things I don't use very often like a chainsaw
@bradpatti999Ай бұрын
The only battery equipment i have ever used is a little ryobi blower and my dads ozito chainsaw. I've been doing lawn care part time for 13years here in Australia and believe it or not I've never used a battery wippersnipper (string trimmer) or a battery hedge trimmer lol. I got a petrol hedge trimmer given to me for free from my father in law which i use on my own 20m hibiscus hedge and shrubs at home and occasionally for customers if they ask. It cuts well and is fairly light, but has some trouble starting even with fuel stabiliser unlike the mower etc which starts easier probably cause it gets used every couple of days. Once this hedge trimmer dies i will be getting a battery one most likely

Battery powered for home. Definately gas powered for my part time lawn care company.
