Pro tip! As a user of this system, I wanted to share some thoughts! This video covered a lot of details about the template, and there is even more to discover once you get into it. However, especially at the start, all of these incredible features feel overwhelming. So, if you are like me and thought, "Wow, that seems like a lot" while watching, here is my advice: Start small and start slow! Implement whatever feels comfortable and actionable initially, and don't worry about the rest! Once you have become more comfortable with the workflow, you can start to utilize more of the features of the template! Starting with this approach has enabled me to form a habit with Notion. Instead of being overwhelmed and spending too much time just trying to organize things, the system became second nature and easy to implement during the middle of a college semester! Last thing, if you are new to Notion, don't worry. Matty and a community of others will be there to help you on your journey to become more organized and productive!

I remember when I joined this channel(which is now more than just a channel) back when it was still Mike & Matty and the evolution that the channel has gone through is just nuts. I used to use all these second brain stuff with Roam, Obsidian, and Notion and the problem is that any benefits are outweighed by the setup and maintenance time for the system. A simple calendar for deadlines and to-do list will provide the same benefits without all the time investment.

When I watch these videos I often wonder why I don’t need 99% of what they show. Is my life lacking? Am I not busy enough? And then I realise, nope, I just don’t have any need to monetise templates for other people. That’s really what all this is about.

Well it depends on how you use the applications, I personally am thinking of making the switch to notion because of how organized you can make everything and I think of using this softwares in a J-Curve business model, - Yes the initial time to learn how to use these softwares is going to take some time but the benefit outweighs the time you spent with how much time you can actually save for future use. - I see notion more like a system software instead of a note-taking. - Having these systems makes your life 10x easier and can remove the excuses and stresses that the common human being makes. - I’ve completely changed my mind about Notion after watching a few videos and i’m amazed at how you can organize things in such a concise manner.

Please bring a video on this topic although it is really small but it triggers me a lot sometimes "whenever i meet a whole group of people like a group of friends or classroom those voices are stuck in my head ... they say random words and sentences in my head ... it's to this extend that sometimes i read anything or even think anything in their voice only " similar thing happens when some song gets stuck in the brain....also this song thing is so frequent with me...i can't figure out why exactly i have these issues

Hello Cajun Koi! I have a crucial query: I'm looking for a manual tracking method where I can update individual progress bars for each topic. With a significant exam approaching, I want the ability to personally update the progress for each topic after completing my flashcards. This way, I can have a clear overview of my accomplishments across different domains, subdomains, topics, and subtopics. I envision a visual representation, something aesthetically pleasing and easy to interpret, which would serve as motivation for me. Do you have any suggestions in mind?

When and to what extend can I trust AI? With chat GPT for example when I asked it to explain high school level math or physics topics it frequently just spread misinformation or was wrong. If a student in need of explanation of a topic can recognise that it made a mistake that is definitely not a good sign. But then again I only tried this with chat GPT.
