This whole situation has quite frankly been surreal to me. I wasnt the biggest fan of Alex to begin with, but he, Will, Memeulous, James and even iNabber were the biggest British KZbinrs after the Sidemen. It was impossible to not see them in each others videos and as a result, they became their own group which I genuinely loved. I'm not going to pretend I knew from the start Alex was a wrongun, but the group never felt as cohesive as Sidemen. After Will, George and James became their own sub-group, Alex and iNabber were pushed to one side, probably for good reasons in Alex's case. It's like finding out that a member of one of your favourite bands you've been listening to for a decade is a horrible abusive pos. It feels so strange. That being said, I have no sympathy for Alex. Hopefully he gets the MiniLadd treatment and is erased from social media, never to return

First off, I won't censor anything (minor exceptions). These are actual words. This is not entirely true for 100% of the cases, but there is a high occurence. Not all types of trauma cause hyper-sexuality. In fact, hyper-sexuality is not even considered to be the name for it since this implies sexualization, which is PORN-INDUCED. The effect of a trauma is simple - the victim getting its brain rewired due to a super stressful situation which is not under their control, eventually leading to dissociation and total rewrite due to fear, anxiety, and so on. Basically, snapping out of the moment is mostly what happens. Later on, the brain idealise the act itself can be done again, but this time, if it got enough time to come up with a solution, it comes with seek for control. While hyper-sexuality is indeed caused by trauma most of the time, it doesn't mean that the victim will engage with ANYONE in the future, but with the ones that the victim, now older, may DEEM TO BE SAFE to safely engage with this.
