There's an issue with modern edgy jokes, especially online for kids. I'm not sure i agree with your premise... i can agree that kids shouldn't learn this kind of stuff online, but i think it should be up to parents and age filters to deal with. Obviously i know that age restricting content has never stopped kids from accessing it, but i think parents should be more aware of content their kids watch and monitor their online activity instead of leaving it up to corporations to dictate what kind of humor should be allowed. And if the humor is bad, people wouldn't watch it. If the market is oversaturated, that just means that sooner or later people will get tired of it and not watch it anymore. Ok i know im late i searched for this video bc i remembered i watch master oogway for a bit and then dropped it and wanted to know what happened. You make really good points and I want to adress the whole thing not just master oogway himself. There are much channels whose whole purpose is dark humor or taking audio etc, but somehow there are keep getting watched and thats exactly the point i want to address. Sont get me wrong there are channels who repost a short and just put a pre-recorded mini face of them on videos which does not change or helps with the enjoyment of the video, i think there are more than wrong. Others use the audio or the joke that is told and then post a vid but have their own "gick" to it, like facial expressions etc, which i thing is hard to say if its wrong or right but exactly you can see that sometimes its not the joke what makes something funny but the way you show the joke. A perfect example is mister bean who uses facial expressions and his way to sound that he even made the whole word "bob" as a joke himself, he just said it and it was funny. So i think something like this shouldn't directly be mass reportet etc, in the master oogway vids there are some where he, like u shown, just puts half of the same vid of himself or the music from him but doesnt even put work in it, i think that is wrong...except if he linked the originals video bc then it would help small channels grow and then it would be a good thing. I wrote a lot and i have no idea if its nice to read (also dont look at grammar problems etc. English isnt my first language) but i hate the "cancel culture" bc most of the time there are no details to it, theres just "copy content = bad" but as i mentioned before you have to look at it directly bc most falls under a kategory where it maybe doesnt belong and if people still watch the person, like the vids and u see thats there is spiece added to it i think they do nothing wrong and only if youtube thinks its wrong then they do their thing but getting people who have no correlation with someone to cancel them seems not fair, i think if its wrong then the channel cant survive so it shows from itself. BUT not when its pedophilia bc most of the time the children dont get that there is something wrong with the content they watch. TLDR: mostly bad content means that the channel will not be or stay big and in other parts its youtubes job to take down channels/vids that are doing wrong
