As a recovered vegan, I can attest at how increasing my protein, and changing to an animal based diet, changed my body composition, hormones, helped my anxiety and mental health, my hair skin and nails improved.. I can go on an on. I was vegetarian/ vegan from age 12 to into my 20s. Now approaching 40 I’m in the best health and shape of my life. I’m happy to hear about the public starting to wake up

I've recently started a high protein, moderate fats, and low carb life style. Honestly, it has changed my life completely. I'm no longer hungry during the day, and especially at night. I'm no longer getting up in the middle of the night looking for food to eat. I'm not looking back on any other way to eat.

I’ll tell y’all what… after listening to this podcast that’s packed with facts & science on how to build & recomp your body, it is VERY difficult to listen to other podcasts that are loosely based on opinions and trends. I can’t even listen to the message they are trying to send & have to turn it off because I know that none of it actually works. I’ve just recently begun lifting weights (started Dec 4) & did not have a clue what I was doing.. so lost. I found this podcast & am SO happy with the changes in my body so far. I’m strength training & on a program. It’s Feb 9, & I’ve lost 14 pounds. This month, I am really focusing on protein intake & purchased a scale for my kitchen. I am ready to amp this thing UP. Thank yall so much.

On the dog/human cloning argument, nature vs nurture plays a significant role. Even if you had the same exact copy you could never perfectly replicate its upbringing including factors like environment, technological advances, or personal interactions. You might get the same dog physically, but there is no way you could raise that dog in the exact same way you did the first time and therefore his/her personality, mannerisms, fears, etc could all be different. You may get the same dna when cloning but you will never get the same result.

My sister, who is 15 years older and me was living the plants based, low peotein diet. Her mindset was based off government propaganda to push the food permid as a way of portion eating. She finally changed her diet to increase her protein intake! Not only has she dropped weight, but food cravings have significantly decreased. Thanks for continuing to publish your contexts. Listen all the time while working out!

I’ve never made so much progress until I started being more aware of my protein intake. This is exactly the problem. People take whatever is told to them as the truth as if that specific thing is the only thing that would influence their stance on it. Do what’s best for YOU. Not what people tell you is best for you based on an alternate agenda.

Great content as always! We need more of these ideas on protein intake getting into the hands of the general population. Unfortunately this won’t come from the government, the media or even doctors but rather from experts such as those on this channel so keep pushing! It’s all a system. I spent a period of time working with physicians and learned that through the intensive training on treating sickness and disease only about less than 25 hours are spent on nutrition.

What’s really unfortunate is, there is no one willing to help people navigate this journey of getting healthier with diet and lifestyle in the real world. I’ve been following all your advice, reading all the books, even go to doctors you’ve had on your show, and at the end of the day they can’t help me because of “liability” and the doctors in the traditional medicine field tell me everything you guys say is wrong. So functional doctors are telling me to go to specialist that contradicts their information 🫨🫠🙃 and then I have to listen to everyone tell me how I need to advocate for myself and not fall for the Gary Brecka’s or Joe Dispenzo’s of the world but they are actually willing to help people in my situation so I can see how people go that direction. A lot of talk about how we can prevent and be healthier but no real life help that I’ve found once you are sick.

While you have a valid point about eating a high protein diet, there IS such a thing as too much. I have yearly lipid panel done and the doctor always sees my high protein levels. Too much can cause kidney function issues so just a word of caution. Also, like any nutrient, what isn’t being used will get stored as something-fat, or otherwise.
