Pakistan's provinces along the Afghan border have come under repeated attack by Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan.
The armed group is also known as the T-T-P or the Pakistani Taliban.
Islamabad accuses the Taliban government in Afghanistan of allowing these fighters to use its territory to launch attacks.
The Afghans deny this.
What is behind this surge?

During the 20 years of US intervention in Afghanistan, Pakistan played double game, received billions in aid for so called war on terror on one hand,while sheltering, nurturing Taliban to make sure that Afghanistan remains destabilized and undemocratic. They called this strategic depth. This has caused thousands of innocent deaths of ordinary Afghans and Pakistan is fully responsible for it. Now it's Karma doing what it always does .TTP is the strategic depth for Taliban.

The problem with Pakistan is that their intelligence and police are busy meddling in internal politics and keeping tab on politicians . For Pakistani Army, Imran and his party seem to be a greater concern and an enemy than TTP or even IS. Generals see Imran as an existential threat and don't really bother if few country men are killed here and there while they remain busy with PTI and its Politicians..
