HOW IS THIS LEGAL? 2024 US Mint Silver and Gold Coins

In this video I talk about the new 2024 us mint gold and silver coins. Every year the US Mint releases many new silver and gold collectible coins. Some of these coins can be flipped for huge profit. Over the last few years the Mint has been raising prices and trying to rake in as much profits for themselves as possible. The new 2024 morgan and peace silver dollars are an example of this. There is however 1 coin coming out in 2024 which does have great potential and this is the 230 year anniversary of the flowing hair dollar coin. I will keep my eye on this and update you with more information as the release gets closer.

It's definitely changed and is still changing It depends on the mintage numbers and population of a ms70 take the new Morgan and peace dollars for example, alot of those coins had issues I doubt my Morgan would even get a 68 so in 5-10 years they can be worth significantly more than what they originally sold for if you get a perfect 70 grade because I think a lot of them are going to get 68 and 69s and nobody really wants to buy a set with one coin that's a 69 and one coin that's a 70 which would be my case I think

Excellent work as always!! I will not buy the Flowing hair gold coin because the original was silver. I will not buy the Flowing hair silver medal because it’s a medal. The U.S. mint is intentionally raising mintages in an effort to try to stop flippers from profiting from their products. This is definitely an edict from the mint director.

I have zero interest in the Harriet Tubman coin. It's not a great design which is sad because there was a lot of opportunity there. As for the Flowing Hair I want the silver. These didn't come out in gold so I don't want the gold. I don't care about flipping it I just love the design

I like to see the Us mint make their products available to all the American masses, not for flipping retail. If a particular coin is worth more years latter great, but to make limited editions for retail to hog up for resale on eBay etc. will get no support from me.

If you also collect coins, along with stacking, I think the reverse proof Morgan and Peace Dollar set is a nice get at $185 on the subscription. But it's a 'pass down to the grandkids' kind of purchase for sure.

I picked up a peace proof coin from a dealer at a show last month for just $85 (if buying multiples he was doing $80) telling me no one is buying them at all. I liked the look of the peace proof coin so whatever. But dealers can't give these away even at cost.

I think you're wrong about the 2023 reverse proofs Morgan and Peace dollars. I predict they will go for insane prices next year around the same time. The US mint needs to up it's game because other Gov mints are doing an amazing job offering amazing new designs and security features. The reason the Morgan and Peace so called "Dollars" are not selling is they are not really a Silver dollar.They are.999 rounds that as you said are even an Oz. . The TRUE Silver dollar was made until 1935 and was 90% Silver and contained about 77% of an Oz. BTW, a" Commem" .dollar has the same size wt. and composition of the REAL Silver dollars and melt for about $18 to $20 .

In 2022 one commemorative coin that seems to do OK (although not fantastic returns but you either get about your money back or make a small profit) the National Purple Heart of Honor coins, especially the clad half dollar.

Flowing hair gold will be $3K each with spot gold nearing $2100 for a floor. The base price will be so high that buying 5 coins will take a bank loan or 2nd trust deed. The mint premiums for gold, platinum and palladium are prices the mafia would charge if they ran the mint.

The last decent piece I got from the U.S. mint was 2x 2019 reverse enhanced proof silver eagles. Paid $80 bucks each roughly and sold one for $1200. New Zealand Mint still has some releases that can make a profit. The Star Wars and marvel trading coins can be a good one

Quality of 2023 Peace Morgan RP set was trash. Returned all my sets. Too many imperfections. That's it was sold out and returns keeps coming in and it was covered by another YTC

The Harriet Tubman coins will probably end up with a low mintage. The $5 gold uncirculated could end up with a mintage less than 2000, similar to the 2022 gold uncirculated commemoratives. .

So that $7000 one you showed was actually a burnished one and not the V75. Lot’s of people put the 2020 burnished in the special holders that said V75 to try to pass it off as the V75 one. So it seemed to work right there, someone paid 7k for a burnished gold eagle. Yeah the Morgans didn’t do good at all. They definitely made too many, 400k for the proof ones. Even 250k was a little too much for the reverse proofs. I got 2 sets of each the Morgans but that was only for my personal collection. I’ve flipped things from the mint before but I didn’t even try this year. I had a feeling the Morgans wouldn’t do as good, even with the new reverse proofs. Also they did have a household limit of 5 on the reverse proofs but they switched that because they didn’t sell out right away.

These are the kind of coins, people have to warn their grandparents about. I bought a silver coin collection not to long ago for spot, and it had a dolley madison dollar from 1999. About 90000 minted and 24 years later it barely sells for 1.5 times spot. Those ebay prices are ridiculous and all the people uninformed and wealthy enough to buy those coins, already have one, so you won't get that money if you tried to sell them now.

None of the 2024 mint products catch my eye, Silver Dragons - Gold Maple from Canada. I'm bored with Morgan and Peace dollars, the reverse proof set is boring. In my opinion the US Mint should have done the reverse proofs in 2021, the 100th anniversary of the last Morgan and first peace dollar. The Harriet Tubman commenorarive dollar is historic, good for a collector but your right not much money to be made flipping. The American gold Flowing Hair commemorative is the most interesting but I bet it would be super expensive to buy. Not sure I would get this too.
