It’s disgusting that the Arab In Jerusalem not just calling for prayers but they actually do the entire prayer via a megaphone times 5 a day, to overpower any other religion. Jews and Christians pray quietly not the entire city must listen. I bet the Muslims won’t let any religion to do the same in any Muslim country.

I am reminded of Saint John Paul II’s words in Crossing the Threshold of Hope (1994) “Nevertheless, the religiosity of Muslims deserves respect. It is impossible not to admire, for example, their fidelity to prayer. @@dalelerette206 - What are you a convert to Islam? I don’t admire any religion who over power other religions. There is freedom in religion in Israel and in any other Western country but the Muslims feel like their religion must be the only one to control the society everywhere they go. If they don’t do that nicely they would force it on you. Just like they did in party of Africa they sold the men ti salvers and took the women as 3rd of 4th wives must be virgin too and better of very young virgin for old men.

In the US it can be annoying, considering that Catholic & Christian churches have all but been banned from tolling their hourly bell, which is a disgrace. But it sounds quite lovely in the Middle East, even though I was surprised to hear it there in Israel.

I love this man and his incredibly smart and profound books! I'm talking about Yoram Hazony. Btw, Dave's books are great too, but Yoram Hazony's have such philosophical depth, and breadth of perception, mind boggling and heart warming at the same time. The best are "The Philosophy of Hebrew Scripture", "God and Politics in Esther", "The Jewish State, The Struggle for Israel's Soul", "The Virtue of Nationalism". What a gift to mankind!

Israel placing such a high value on family and children is so refreshing, as well as realizing that their children grown up having a purpose, knowing that they will each contribute to the safety of their state. I understand it has made a big difference in the physical health of people. Having an emphasis on fitness in military service and learning that discipline in their late teens seems to lead to a healthier lifestyle.

(1 Kings 11:36) God's name is literally inscribed in the valleys (Kidron, Hinnom, Tyropean) that surround Jerusalem. From the little I know about Israel, the takeaway could be to have separate districts for different cultures. The star of David represents the 6 (other) races/religious groups. So divide the USA by 6 and work to preserve and promote each other's culture

That's untrue and doesn't make much sense. The Star of David has been around for a couple thousand years, long before anyone knew about the religions from different parts of the world, or the modern conception of race. In fact it predates a number of those religions you think it is apparently in reference to. Please stop with the conspiracy theory stuff, and critically think. If you apply a bit of actual scrutiny it falls apart so easily.

All that's required is for Palestinians to accept peace next to Jewish Israel. Until they are ready to do so, whenever they attack civilians (as they usually do) or IDF, Israel will respond and - naturally - Palestinian innocents will also suffer. The choice is up to Palestinians, and so far they've chosen to keep attacking Israeli civilians.
