I'm from Toronto and we had a donut chain called Country Style that made "crullers" which looked just like these. There was cherry, chocolate and my fav walnut cruller. Later on another donut chain Tim Hortons made the same thing but called it a "crunch" donut.

Windsor Ontario Canada had Country Style also, and orange crullers were so good! Nothing like it since.

@@dsmith8937 I totally forgot about the orange crullers! Yeah they were really good. I thought Country Style had shut down I was wrong they still have a lot of locations in southern Ontario and across Canada. I know where I'm going tomorrow.
