How It's Made: Five Guys Burgers
A hamburger, or simply burger, is a food consisting of fillings-usually a patty of ground meat, typically beef-placed inside a sliced bun or bread roll. Hamburgers are often served with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, bacon, or chilis; condiments such as ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, relish, or a "special sauce," often a variation of Thousand Island dressing; and are frequently placed on sesame seed buns. A hamburger patty topped with cheese is called a cheeseburger.
The Five Guys menu is centered on hamburgers offered with Kraft American cheese or Applewood-smoked bacon and kosher style hot dogs (Hebrew National all-beef franks), as well as grilled cheese, BLT and vegetable sandwiches. Five Guys uses buns that are sweeter and "eggier" than normal buns. The hamburgers come in two sizes: regular (two patties) and little (one patty). Fresh-cut French fries are the sole side item, available salted only in "Five Guys style" or seasoned "Cajun style". Customers may select from 15 different toppings at no charge to customize their meals.

The burger is good because it’s ground sirloin or a mix of basically steak meat. It’s the equivalent of trying a cheese steak with chopped ribeye. Once you’ve had it taste that good, you don’t want it any other way. It just costs more

That's quite an ordeal to make a burger 🍔 but it is probably worth the effort. They look delicious 😋. I have never had a 5 Guy's Burger, think I will try one after seeing how delicious they look. 👌👍 You know, restaurants that follow a strict regime and cooking procedures are usually top-notch in flavor and efficiency as a business. Colonel Sanders would randomly pull an inspection on his franchises if a franchise wasn't using his 11 herbs and spices, he'd yank their pressure cooker for some time, to teach the manager a lesson! 😂 The pressure cooker was the heart of the business! ❤

I took two friends there for lunch recently..my treat. I wasn't expecting to spend close to $70 for a burger lunch but I did. It turned out to be more of a treat than I . We all ate and it was delicious, especially the fries! Was it worth it? Totally subjective. I buy a sirloin/brisket/hamburger blend for $10 a pound and get three burgers out of it. My burgers are are definitely healthier and tastes more like steak and to me are tastie. Definitely can't match the fries but I can buy a couple bags of fries at 5 Guys and save $50.

You know that Burger King nearly went out of business due to one of the most negative marketing techniques in fast food history! They decided to offer a 1/3 pound burger 🍔 for about the same price McDonald's was selling their Quarter Pounders. Burger King couldn't figure out why their financial situation was going down hill. Until someone figured it out. People don't realize that 1/3 is more than 1/4. At least the 🍔 burger-eating population wasn't well educated in math, or I should say fractions. This marketing idea almost put them into bankruptcy back in the 70's. Of course this happened here in America, says a lot about the education system even back then! LOL 🤣 Probably mostly just not paying attention, and seeing the larger number 4 in 1/4, people automatically thought that's more than 3 in 1/3. Like that Facebook meme showing an easel sign out front of a sidewalk restaurant, it says, "Today's special, buy one dinner and get the second dinner for the same price!" I bet a lot of people fall for that and have no clue! LOL 🤣 🤣

Five guys is the worst place to work at ever. I've worked at every fast food chain and multiple locations. Five guys pays you the same and they make you do at least four times the work, And good luck getting any freebies like the other places to give you. But if I'm a customer I love five guys.
