I remember watching Jaws as a kid and immediately asking why they never used poisoned meat slabs like the one the shark took from the peer earlier in the film, or why they never brought assault rifles and just riddled the shark with bullets, or why not attach all 5 barrels to the 1st 'harpoon' on really short lines so that they could keep the shark near the surface at all times and alert people on the beaches wherever it went from now on. Honestly, I LOVE this film, but it's best not too think it through too much.
