SwordsmanMercenary this isn’t real life, we’ve seen how dangerous it can be to hunt and deal with Dino’s, sure some Dino’s like the T. rex would be easy to capture but smaller ones, and ones that stay in the Forrest, not so much. Also the Dino’s used as weapons were only the genetically modified ones that were resistant to guns, Dino’s as weapons would work, you’d just need to be able to control them, which is what they were trying to achieve with the prototype, once they got a working one, they could have weapons that breed, you just gotta feed them, and with improved control methods, you don’t need to be close to give the kill command

Awesome. Though I'm surprised that you didn't do the massive plot whole at the end of the movie: **spoilers** The dinosaurs are going to die from the gas. The characters have a control panel with two buttons, one to open the dinosaurs' cages, the other opens the big door to the outside world. Wanting to save the dinosaurs from the gas, the characters let them out of their cages and then go through a massive moral quandary over whether or not to open the big door, letting the dinosaurs move out of the gas, but out into the world. Yet no one was smart enough to just open the external door and let the gas vent out, with the dinosaurs still in their cages.

That's a small plot hole, though. Gas could have just stay long enough, without any strong current or such, to just kill them, even if the doors are open. They are on an underground facility, after all. The real plot hole is the one with the weapons. "Oh, no, the dinosaurs are free, humanity will go extint as in that apes movie." Some writers live in the 19th century and forgot we have nuclear weapons and worse.

The dinosaurs will get everywhere though so nukes would risk human death, and the escaped animals are just part of the problem, another is the implications that now everyone's got access to the genetic power and they will mess around with it thinking they are in control. No we would not, anyone who has served know dinosaurs would stand no chance against even small arm fire not even going to include higher caliber rifles. Some civilians would of course die, mostly the unarmed people but it would be dealt with in a matter of days. Raptors may be fast but not fast enough. You have to make a lot of plot holes to get people to die in these movies. Bring in military units, NV or thermal scopes, helicopters, drones and it's just a slaughter fest. We would be having dinosaur steaks by the end of the week. By the way the book ends with a battalion coming in and doing just that.
