For me, one of the classic lines of the seasons is when Peter confronts the former Zealot and asks him if he can trust him with a former tax collector. What a transformation in Peter! Genuinely, a shepherds heart in Peter is being formed. I just love that moment and I admit, I find my thoughts returning to that moment and that line often. It left a deep impression on me about loving our enemies and overcoming our resentments and outrage and unforgiveness for the love of Jesus. He loves our enemies too!!! What a consuming fire thought. It's not about me. Now I can watch that moment any time I want to here in this clip. Thank you so much for posting this!!!!!

There was so much to the prayer scene. The special part about it for me was when Simon made sure "Z" was going to be okay when he was partnered with Matthew. Then he looked at Matthew and said quietly, "it will be fine". This was from the man who said he would never forgive Matthew. This scene shows how Simon is becoming the rock and how God puts forgiveness in our hearts.

Simon looking up to God at the end says it all. After watching all 3 seasons NUMEROUS times, I just figured out why watching these scenes by themselves are so powerful & meaningful. For me it's because I'm only concentrated on this scene & not trying to process the entire episode over & over in my mind & heart. THANK YOU The Chosen for doing scenes this way because, for me, they have a greater impact just when I need to be reminded of God's & Jesus's complete & total love for me. Thank you for this clip and your remote pray. The deceiver has been in my head for the last 2 hours. After praying to God bout how I needed to stop listening and acknowledging the deceiver, I picked up my iPad and watched this clip again. I started to cry but it was a cry of joy and release from the doubt that I was a failure, that I had been feeling for the last 2 hours. I love you Lord.

The writers did a good job showing the characters how they feel, and Dallas did a good job explaining how they should feel since, he explains to the cast how they should act. This is one of my favorite scenes in season 3, because it unites them as one.

Loved Simon's leadership in this scene and the faith of all the apostles, not knowing what was ahead of them. It was so powerful to watch the episode end this way at the premiere in Atlanta last year. I'll never forget it.

I saw that in both of those scenes too. But binging again I noticed Simon caring where Matthew was when everyone was getting ready to go and put out the flyers for the Sermon on the Mount. Especially when he said he could never forgive Matthew.I believe we can all change our feelings toward one another and show love just like Simon is doing with Matthew. Beautiful lessons on forgiveness and love ❤️

I finally recognized the words spoken by them here. It's the words from Psalm 3; one of my favorite Psalms. I even think about it when I'm scared, and call upon the Father, the shield; and the lifter of my head. The enemy stands against me, they rise up all around. God really do comfort us in our times of need. I love this and how the Psalm was aptly applied to their calling. As a Christian myself, I am put into similar situations where there are many people who would question my faith; but like this very particular Psalm; all I know is that I need to keep my faith with the Lord, and He shall be my shield. In Hebraic numerology, in the Old and the New Testament, the number 7 was the number of completion, perfection, and holiness, eg. 7 days of God's creation, 7 miracles of Christ in John's Gospel, 7 churches in Revelation, 7 sacraments in the church, etc. Can't wait to see no.4.

This series never gets old; I've watched it numerous times. It's not awful, like I thought at first. It took me more than a year to give The Chosen a chance. And oh boy, was I hooked from episode one. Jonathan Roumie's acting draws me in, and his face acting is superb. When Little James asked Jesus for healing, I was wrecked, and my face was sopping wet. That scene resonated with me prodigiously due to how relatable it was b/c life has vicissitudes I cannot escaped from. El Shaddai is my Rock and Anchor in this life. All laudatory praises, power, honor, and authority belong to God the Father.

I think it’s pretty neat that Dallas and the crew give subtle nods to Peter’s leadership of the Apostles. They were all equals, but when it comes down to the wire, they always defer to Peter. I think it’s great that the Chosen promotes the more Evangelical/Protestant ideas of equality among brothers and sisters while also acknowledging the Patristic nature and heritage of the Orthodox and Catholic Churches. It’s done more to unite Christians across denominations than any other media I’ve seen.

Anyone giving you grief is scared because they don't know Him 🙏. As long as you are spreading God's words, you are doing His will and don't take any negativity to heart. One of the scenes from season 3 that always get emotional. Because were seeing them follow in ways and steps of Jesus as He taught them. Not just as disciples, but family and friends. & There is just something so powerful seeing group of people from all walks of life, unified for GOD. Holding each other up despite their differences.

You Love your church and it is probably really wonderful church.🙏 However, it is my heart felt thought for all faithful Christians is to take ownership of the "church" and its past. In the name of God, the church also distroyed a whole Native American Nation. In the name of God, killed people during its Christian wars, and burned women at the stake, even though the commandment said not to kill . The church had not yet learned how to live in Love as Jesus asked. Nor have the Christians atoned for their church as is written in Season 3, episode 1. I would love to see this humility. And You are right! Christ's Love IS the church in my heart.🌺🌿 He didn't tell us to build physicals churches, He said go into your room and pray. Dallas and his brilliant writing staff, have been able to bring in non-Christians through their loving hearts to those of us who Love Jesus with a life changing passion and follow his guidance. You are right, Christ is the way and the light and there is no need for a church, unless you love and want to maintain a building, praying together, and that is wonderful too. The question for me is can you love me, loving Jesus without a church. He saw us all sitting together around the Shabbat table. I'll talk with you there. ❤ @@miriamring1082

This is the strength of this show - to show the human side of what the disciples went through. It wasn't easy, and too often it gets superficial treatment in the arts. And that is why the show is so edifying - because any disciple of Christ today goes through the same exact lessons.

This is one of my favourite psalms and i have the whole thing memorised and I was so happy when the disciples said this before preaching. Also I was wondering why they missed a line in the middle of the psalm-is there any particular reason for it or just accidental?

I don't think that a line was missed. Each Bible's wording is just a little different but has the same meaning. I have 2 Catholic bibles, printed at different times and neither of them is the same exact wording. And they are also different from my friends King James version but we both got the same message. As long as we're reading our bibles that's the most important thing to praise and honor God. It's beautiful you have the verse memorized. God bless you 🙏 🕊🙌✝️😊🍞🐟💜

Rewatching The Chosen is like rereading The Bible, something "new" is always highlighted. Watching The Chosen has helped me by putting faces to names, so that i have less trouble of mixing up a person's story. Yes, i know they are actors' faces, but that helps keep the stories from melting together in my mind. For example, recently, i read Acts 19:29 which mentions Gaius, Paul's traveling companion and wondered, "is this the same Gaius as portrayed in the show?" As you read the Bible, may Holy Spirit fill your heart. As you watch, (film, edit, sponsor, act in,...) The Chosen, may Holy Spirit guide you to live out The Way of Christ's leading.
