I actually like that they don't all just get along. It's reality. Even brothers and sisters by blood have a tendency to get on each other's nerves. You put a group of people together for an extended period of time, even if they all start out as friends glad to share each other's company, they're going to get irritated with each other. Over little things as well as bigger things. It's human nature. It don't matter what the reason they are together for, or Who they are following.

I love how the disciples are portrayed in this series. They are young. Some pictures that depict the disciples show them as very old men, and not relatable. In the Chosen, they are flawed, strong-willed like you and me. But in the end, they love Jesus and follow him to the end.

Honestly I slightly like Season 2 more than the others because we got to see the disciples interact as a community the most. I feel like the arguments they get into reflect the conflicts the happen in churches and between denominations today. But we get to see them move forward as family united under Jesus' leadership. I long to see this unity in today's church.

I adore the tiniest of details in this show that so many other religious films/media lack (to the point I can't make it past one episode). The dialogue moves so naturally, but also the fact that the Jesus has to balance a SCHEDULE is something so obvious, yet something I never considered. This guy had to evangelize the entire world, he couldn't waste time by wandering from town to town and person to person. He had to plan trips, balance invitations, know where to go next. Tiny details like that are something I don't think get nearly enough attention or praise

I really love how they were portrayed in this show. They WERE real people with real feelings. And in the Bible the apostles were actually quite immature and petty in the gospels, it wasn’t until Acts that they matured. Which kinda makes sense considering they were actually quite young (some possibly even being teenagers) during the time they had been called by Jesus.

What I like about The Chosen is that they chose actors who are at a young age & who’s ethnicity is middle eastern background which is historically accurate especially for Jesus because he wasn’t a white or black man but an olive dark skin toned middle eastern man, not European 😂

whoah!!!! that was quite a collage of differences. man, us humans!!!! that is who we are🎶... i imagine it had to have been a mind blowing experience being called to follow JESUS during HIS ministry. i feel blessed learning these glimpses of our first century jewish disciples of JESUS through the lens of the chosen series. and i am super excited to see how much our first followers of our JESUS will grow in grace and faith as their ministry evolves with and without JESUS in the seasons to come... thank YOU GOD for YOUR HOLY SPIRIT for them and for us... also, it was a brutal, heart wrenching moment to see the character of our JESUS walk with exhaustion into their camp knowing what was happening again, out of breath and with what looked like a tear stained, sweaty face to me, raising HIS hand to say good night to them... continued blessings. 🕊

As a young Christian I had some of that awful Chick tract stuff in my head & may have contributed to misunderstanding in some small way (this was before the Internet tg, so not able to spread it very far or wide). You know what changed my mind though? For some reason I kept finding books that were written during the time of the 2nd Charismatic Renewal (in used bookstores in L.A. where I was living & where the movement started) & read about Christians of every denomination including Catholic worshipping Christ together - differences forgotten in their love & adoration of Christ. It was a real eye-opener for me & I see a similar thing happening right now with the arrival of "The Chosen" series ❤️‍🔥🕊❤️‍🔥🕊❤️‍🔥

I’ve watched all the episodes of the chosen but I don’t know how it feels like I missed these scenes. So much is happening in them. Especially season 3 episode 4, they are speaking out loud things that I have questions about -so cool. I’m going to watch them again
