As a black guy, I know that all types of nationalism are wrong. We all need to accept that we are all humans and start from there. And since there are many divisions amongst us, the best way to fight nationalism, tribalism, racism starts with the people who hold these beliefs. Just like Derek, a white person fighting white nationalism, Muslims should fight against terrorism, Black people against colorism in the black communities, Japanese against isolationism or anti immigration, e.t.c. We all have issues but the solution is not band together and start blaming others or looking down on others to feel better or superior, let’s be one unit or many units that understand humanity has most been successful when we band together as one. Out of many one or vice versa.

Turkey, by land mass, is positioned 95% in Asia and 5% in Europe. Thrace, in northern Turkey on the Balkan Peninsula, is the only part of Turkey that is on the European continent. Myra was not on the Balkan Peninsula. So, it would appear that "Europeans" and "Americans" are borrowing some of their mythological figures from other continents. The US and many other first world nations have employed political correctness for decades and it works in keeping society in constant self-regulation. Politeness and political tactfulness has been characteristic of first world nations for quite some time. The issue here that people seem to confuse is that political correctness has somewhat become a form of speech policing. This is not political correctness, but it is often confused as such. To be politically correct is to have self awareness and know what to say in the context that you are in, it's a common form of social contract. Nowadays some radical groups use PC culture and exploit it as means to police language and speech; this over here is quite the issue and I worry about it as much as anyone. White Supremacists exploit the fear of political correctness and weaponize the concept as a way to "silence white people" and push this victimization mentality. This is also a really bad issue.

As a lifetime Democrat, I never, ever watched Fox or Megan on that network. I don't know what positions she took then or what she believed. The amount of old ladies in the crowd make her already unprofessional behaviour even worse. It's like you're trying to talk politics at a mean girls knitting circle where the "laugh" cues for the crowd are sent by her and directed at someone she's not willing to listen to.

Trump's entrance into politics was birtherism. Which was a racist movement that cared where Obama was born, when John McCain and Ted Cruz were both born outside of America too. But for some reason, that was never mentioned about them by other Republicans. White nationalism is in the news because that is Trump's base.
