JMO Elvis died of anaphylaxis. He was allergic to codeine, says it on his army records. (You can internet search it) He got codeine from the dentist that night. The 2 needles they found was probably epinephrine. He tried to give himself the shots why his pjs were down. you have to shoot it into your leg. No epipens then. There was codeine in his system. Some say it was within normal amounts but if you’re allergic it doesn’t take that much. A kid doesn’t need to eat a whole jar of peanut butter to have a severe reaction. He did have these reactions before but Drs or someone was around to give him a shot. Joyce Bova mentions a reaction in DC & Dr had to show up to give him a shot. Elvis thought it was from chocolate on the plane but clearly allergic to something.

@@ElvisistheMan_ I'm not saying he didn't have a prescription problem. He put too much faith into medicine. The problem is the timing. Elvis What Happened was just released. Everyone assumed it had to be an overdose because of the book and when Geraldo Rivera, an investigative reporter, who was trying to make a name for himself,wanted to capitalize on it, he started a conspiracy theory, a coverup and he was going to expose it. (Remember, Al Capone's vault? Probably not you're too young.) The thing is it could have been easily avoided if people were doing their jobs. And to cover THAT up, they put all the negligence onto Elvis. I mean he is gone so the truth would not come out. It was daytime when it happened! Yet the people on duty where sleeping off their own benders. I can dm you the Army record on instagram.

we can easily imagine the tremendous stress Elvis was under knowing he was flying out later that evening feeling like crap but knowing he had to leave in a few hours. The man was desperately uncomfortable & stressed. He just wanted to relieve his bowel and have a rest before setting out. We can only imagine how miserably ill Elvis was yet how pressured he was to keep touring. I wish Linda had completed her Destiny by staying w/ E. This was a critical time. In 1976 the revenge book had been slowly killing Elvis while the three traitors were writing it. The book had only been out in the US and he'd be seeing the public for the first time. The worry was eating Elvis alive. First hand accounts revealed that Elvis was stricken, emotionally gutted w/ the dreaded conviction his reputation & career would be over. Knowing how Elvis was should have been enough to have his friends be extra vigilant. Although at that point in E's life things had drastically changed. His insulated world had turned dangerous and dark. He was isolating in his rooms. The party days had long been over. At that point, his fraud manager, the Memphis Mafia, his stepbrothers, some of his family, his women & their families ALL were using Elvis as their cash-cow. He'd talked with Charlie Hodge, mourning how things had changed, that it wasn't fun like it used to be, that everyone was gone. Elvis felt used, abandoned, sad & lonely. Were they ever his true friends? Did they care about Elvis as a friend or a good time? We know the three who were fired in a terrible blunder didn't want their fringe benefits to end. They didn't want the drugs THEY were were dependent on to end. That is much of the reason Red & Sonny and Dave wrote their revenge book. For not only did they lose access to the Gravy Train, they lost access to the opioids, uppers & downers they needed. Plus, they'd have to get actual jobs & support themselves and their families! Everything was a mess and it's debatable if Elvis would have survived the bathroom crisis. But what is known is Linda took good care of him and would have never left him alone in the bathroom for hours. She'd have heard the fall and administered emergency aid until the Medics arrived. At least he'd have had a chance. Ginger was a piece of work! Such a tragedy for the King to end that way.

It's hard to know what is true and what isn't. The only true thing is that know one really seem to care about ELVIS, just as long as the money rolled in , what a real shame.

I would have to disagree Kerry. The people that were close to him, regarded him as a close brother or family member. One thing is for sure, is that Elvis didn't take any responsibility for his own well being. You couldn't intervene if he wanted a drug, or you would be out in the street faster than a blink of an eye. Many of them tried repeatedly, but drug addicts will never listen. Elvis was in a lot of pain as well.

In my opinion Elvis pushed his self way to hard because everybody was dependent on him. He was a cash cow for Tom parker, Ginger Alden especially and the memphis mafia. Out of all those people nobody really cared enough to get Elvis the help that he needed. After him and Pricilla divorced Elvis was a very lonely man. He couldn't really have a life outside of his house or without the so called friends. He did have a lot of medical issues besides the intestines he also had glacoma and was in pain a good deal of the time, but everybody just kept pushing him. I pray that he is in heaven and at piece now.

Nancy Rooks who was one of Elvis’s cooks said she heard Elvis and Ginger arguing early that morning before they went to sleep. Elvis told her if she didn’t go on tour with him the next day, that she could not go at all. Ginger was trying to leave the house during the argument, but then stayed when Elvis told her that. I think Elvis had another girl lined up to meet him at the end of the tour according to one of the guys of the Memphis Mafia. Elvis did that quite often, let his girlfriends go on the beginning of the tours and then sent them home about half way through the tour so he could meet up with a new woman that one of the guys picked for him.

My rule of thumb in the Stanleyverse.... If the last name is Stanley, I don't even bother listening because I would not believe them if they said the sky is blue. Each and everyone of them has changed their story repeatedly. Most often to sell books. I doubt they remember the truth...and look at the lying sack of excrement that raised them!!! I still think the book she's sold or tried to sell insinuating improper behavior between Elvis and his Mom was 1 of the most despicable and vile things done regarding Elvis, which is obviously saying a lot

@@WayneLeng I do not trust her! she denies he was sick when everyone else could see .Claims he was fine not depressed or lonely she didn't really know Elvis as she claimed how could she , she was barely there long enough to a few short months Joe and Elvis spoke often about her, and both decided they could just not figure her out. rarely had nothing to offer in conversation or otherwise. She did not want to go out on tour with him at all she seems distant. She rarely ever went to Graceland without a family member of friend with her. so i won't bother. Elvis was getting fed up with Ginger by August billy & Jo his wife said it was getting worse near the end the arguments the drama that was Ginger! Charlie Hodge and others have said the same when he met her she was over 20yrs younger. his time with her was a part of his life that was unhappy cos he wasn't getting wat he needed from a woman. he was probably happy in the beginning with her but as time went on he wasn't anymore the unrest was getting to him his health getting worse couldn't put up with her drama the constant arguments. Larry said Elvis decided he wasn't going to marry her. Larry was licenced in California to marry people Elvis asked Larry to marry them he agreed Larry said several months later Elvis changed his mind. at first he was going to then he said if i marry her i marry the whole family. funny don't remember ginger saying the wedding was off. thought she would have done. so in the end there was no wedding he wasn't going to marry her! So NO i wouldn't want to read her book !

I explained in your previous video what I feel contributed to Elvis's death & this is a Vagal response to straining. When the large intestine gets impacted it is a process to empty. Digital removal from the rectum can stimulate peristalsis but not likely in a person with huge amounts of different types of opiates on board. Elvis should have been on a bowel regimen, which cardiac patients often have, with regular doses of stool softeners & a mild laxative. Today we have a type of laxative used in people who use opiates. These drugs have naloxone an opiate antagonist which blocks specific opiate receptors to reverse opioid overdose. Small amounts combined with a drug to stimulate a bowel movement would have helped Elvis tremendously. Elvis developed a huge large intestine due to the retention of stool. Elvis did NOT have bone cancer.

If you research his situation, you will see that his condition was hereditary and he had severe problems even as a child. He struggled with this his entire life and spent his adult life chasing down a medical solution and was even advised to have a colostomy which he refused to do. To say in a cavalier way that he should have been on stool softeners and laxatives when the man's colon issues were so complex, they're probably studied in medical schools, it's highly unfair for you to act as if he was too stupid to take a laxative and chose instead to die on a toilet.
@NYCgirl927
@NYCgirl927 4 жыл бұрын
@@debra2700 My answer is based on the facts I believe are true & not cavalier at all. There are a handful of reasons for a person to be plagued by chronic constipation. Constipation is not hereditary in itself unless precipitated from a condition passed on genetically.. A neuromuscular disease, spinal cord injury to not enough fluid intake are some reasons for chronic constipation however the use of opiates is a huge red flag. Bulking up stool with fiber, increasing fluid intake & encouraging a BM with a mild laxative is exactly what should have been done. You infer you have some inside info about Elvis's health issues..I doubt this. I never heard it was suggested to Elvis to have a colostomy, I do not believe it anyway because this is not a treatment for constipation. If he had cancer in his bowel or unable to use the muscles surrounding his rectum, narrowing of his intestines maybe he would have a colostomy. You obviously do not know what you're talking about & feel a need to disagree because you don't like what Im saying. BTW I have taught in medical schools, nursing schools along with practicing as an advanced practice nurse with 2 masters degrees. I have a strong feeling you are a toxic person by the way you answered my comment. You offer no concrete reasons or evidence for maki Not sure what triggered your response & I doubt your ability to communicate an opinion different from your own will happen.
@debra2700
@debra2700 4 жыл бұрын
@@NYCgirl927 The problem is that you want to post a bunch of medical information and sound highly intellectual while providing no actual background on Elvis himself. The colostomy issue is well documented as discussed by Dr. Nick who apparently knows far less about a patient he treated for a decade than you seem to know. What triggered my response is that your need to sound as if you're an authority on colons shouldn't be done at the expense of making Elvis' death look as if the man was too dumb to know he needed laxatives and dropped dead at the age of 42 for the fun of it. If you have two Master's Degrees you wasted your money since you can't even spell Master's Degree properly.

It was customary for Elvis to take two and sometimes three of these envelopes of pills. I think I did not even taking one of those pills he still would have died right there right then. The condition of his heart was very weak and he had intestinal problems that added to the strain of that heart. There's not a single thing anybody could do for him including the doctors. He saw what was going on and how it was ruining everything so when no one was looking he took some of the capsules laying on Elvis's Chester drawers and broke them open and put sugar inside. I've read every book except for destined to die Young! That book is literally only written to recycle and retell what's already been said! It's just to take more dollars out of the pockets of his fans! Some of these comments are just so far out there, The person saying the empty syringes were from Elvis giving himself injections because of his reaction to the codeine is just to much! Come on! He was NOT allergic to codeine! It simply made him itch! The Stanley brothers are not a reputable source for info on Elvis but I'd like to know more about who they had in the house the night Elvis died! NO I do not think they killed Elvis I'd just like to know what kinda crap they were doing that no one knew about! We will never get a tangible answer about what happened to Elvis other than drugs def played a role in his death? If only we could bring him back and tell him about the effect that he has had on us all! There is a reason why people are drawn to him and Id love to know why?

ElvisistheMan_ you really should listen to the Jungle Room podcast where Patrick Lacey who wrote the Elvis Decoded book speaks. Some untruths about Ginger perpetuated for a long time. I simply do not believe an implication that Ginger, knowing Elvis is dead in the bathroom, showers and does her makeup then calls for help. Doesn't make any sense. If Ginger was all done up, why did that not reflect in This Is Elvis. Interestingly when they made This Is Elvis and re-enacted the bathroom scene. Look how Joe E talks to the actor playing Ginger. "Get Out Of Here" he says to her. I think that was his attitude to her and I suspect that attitude was common in the MM group for whatever reason.

When she finished getting ready and she came out and saw his bathroom door was still closed, that’s when she was like wtf and knocked on the door to no answer and then walked in and found him. I think this is actually a logical explanation to why she was all dolled up". sounds like was happened to me and explains why all done up . but wat i don't understand is why she assumed he would be in there and not call to him !!

So in that regard he was less insecure than most people you and I both know. His problem wasn't confidence, his problem was dealing with the drug overload or the polypharmacy issues. I think Elvis died from an accidental overdose in the manner those die from a Fentanyl overdose these days. Respiratory failure and death. Now, all accounts indicate he died alone. If someone had been using with him, they would have most likely alerted someone. Since there is no indication Ginger had a drug problem as far as we know, she most likely would've left Elvis alone to do his thing. Sadly, I think he accidentally overdosed way too young and all alone. Its sad!!

He needed to detoxify and go somewhere on his own and move out of Graceland. I am certain, that had he lived, he would have moved out of that house by the early '90s sometime. White Haven is crime-ridden and is far too busy. I think he was generally quite happy and optimistic and had a positive outlook on people and his life! He loved many , and he was well aware that many loved him as well. It's tough being Elvis Presley however. Expectations were unreal.

Hey David, Very interesting information. I have a book from David Stanley, called " THE ELVIS ENCYCLOPEDIA. In this book, David recalls this: Elvis played Racquetball with Billy Smith 4:30am till 6:30 am (8/16/77), Elvis calls for another packet of meds because he couldn't sleep was very wired. Ginger stayed up with Elvis till 9:00am. And from 9:00am 2:00pm. So she slept 5 hrs and Elvis was in the bathroom that long? Also he said he was the one who picked up all the syringes and pills from the bathroom that day because he knew the ambulance was fixing to walk through the door. Also he stated that Vernon asked David If he killed Elvis. And also I was wondering who was the mysterious guy who fled away in the car. Also many questions so many unanswered questions. I enjoy your videos and looking forward to part 3, keep up the great work. ❤

Basically just RCA -- from the huge amount of sales of his music that went on for the first several weeks and months. The Colonel only did marginally better, and his father was left with an estate that was bleeding money once that wave of music sales faded away. So much that it was only by opening Graceland for tours later on that the estate didn't go bankrupt. The murder theory is pretty silly, considering that Elvis' own behavior wouldn't make it necessary.

I think people are looking far, far too deeply and too critically into this thing and too quick to jump to conclusions. Drugs kill a lot of people every day. Elvis insisted on taking them. Secondly; no one could do a dam thing about it! Third, he had an addictive personality and needed some type of addiction to become content and satisfied. Last, he had severe ailments that unless you have experienced, you could not possibly imagine how painful and debilitating that they can be. Elvis would never dream about taking his own life. Too many people loved him and depended on him. He had too strong of a constitution to let that happen.

Extra large colon was genetic and Elvis knew about his colonmegaly because a few yrs before his death it was discovered by a specialist who recommended surgery.But Elvis was too sick at the time to have surgery Part of those meds in system at death were due to this mega colon That chalky substance ..I will research that to see what it could be. Appears like it was something he took for constipation.If you have abnormal colon you do not have to take drugs to have a big time colon. This was a diagnosed medical condition he had. As far accidentally over dosing... there was no drug at levels to be toxic or cause a lethal interaction. His death was caused by his straining to pass that large stool brick lodged in his colon.Big time straining causes pressure to be put on the vagus nerve which is responsible fir normal cardiac rhythm.This pressure slowed the heart greatly causing a fatal arrythmia.Elvis died from a freak medical condition and not from med abuse. I read several books which information I have included here.Who better knows a person's medical history than your doctor you have had for years? That was Dr Nick who knew Elvis's meducal history and watched two autopsies on Elvis.. He discusses Elvis' med use and what caused his death and the lack of drug lethality in Elvis" system.I recommend his book for more informed account of his death.He was at Graceland a few minutes after discovering Elvis and he was in the hospital room with Elvis when they were trying tio revive him. This is not on the bodyguards oh, this is not on Ginger this is not on Elvis's mom and dad oh, this is not an Elvis Barber this is not on some secret agenda oh, this is on one person and only one person and that is Elvis himself! Addiction is such a difficult thing to beat! Speaking from experience, your mind and your thoughts outweigh your body's needs, which is to stop taking what you're addicted to. the more you try to occupy your mind, the more you think of it. You have thoughts of "last time I did this I had taken this and felt like this and it was awesome!" You somehow find a way to link your activities to your addiction. It is so so hard to beat and I will admit that I have relapsed a few times but managed to pull myself together afterward because of the hate I feel for myself. And she knew like the others did that Elvis would sometimes choke and need help. Did she just say she took a sleeping pill so she could say she didn't hear the bang? The maid said the E and Ginger had a huge fight that night, she could hear it from downstairs. He had had a huge fight with Parker not long before that and someone was keeping Parker filled in everything regarding Elvis, I'd say someone was getting paid by Parker to do just that. And like I said Ginger showed absolutely no emotion when interviewed . She was describing how she found him, supposedly someone she loved (?) someone she was going to marry (?) and someone she found DEAD in a terrible way.... and yet not a tear. No trembling voice, no NOTHING. When I think even now about how he died, I get emotional and yet, NO emotion from her. Makes me wonder if there wasn't something going on between her and the step-brother. All I know is nothing adds up. Why is everything sealed until 2027? Elvis was worth more dead than alive to SOME people especially the ones who were worried about the book coming out. Worried that it would destroy Elvis' reputation, hence, his career, hence the inflow of money.AND some were very angry with him. Yes, Elvis was going through a depression but A LOT of people go through depression, some kill themselves, most don't. It would have been better if Elvis' nurse had slept next door and not a 20 year old girl.

Good luck getting that! As far as Elvis was concerned he was as fit as any twenty-year-old. That also goes down with taking drugs, is that one becomes delusional and he was in many ways. Elvis when sober stated many times over did he did not feel you would live very long and he said that in his early 30s. So given his health at that time and is family history he knew he was on The Chopping Block before the age of 50 for sure. Elvis accomplished more in 20 years of entertaining then any other 10 musicians put together and that would include Michael Jackson and Company. He was the greatest of all singers that the world has ever known and had the heart of a lion but just not the will and the discipline to stay away from problematic behaviours. In short oh, he was only a man
