That is almost how me and my husband started 36 years ago. He would go to church but sleep. My mom told me to keep going and live how I go to church. I did and would get up get kids dressed and go to church. One Sunday while we were getting dressed he got up and got dressed and went to church with us. A few Sundays later he dedicated himself to Christ. We ushered together for years. Now he is a deacon in the church. So God can change anyone!! You just have to stand on faith and keep praying and not bug them. That will chase them away more. I forgot to add we have been married for 35, it will be 36 in January!

8:35 When you said don’t give up, there’s someone out there for you and that God always has a plan, I burst into tears. I’m so happy for you guys and if someone could please pray for me. I’ve been on dating apps for over a decade with no success, I’m 30 and it’s been really hard doing life alone year after year. Prolonged singleness has destroyed my faith and I’ve become so far from God during this time. There were times that I even turned my back on God and took matters into my own hands and tried following the ways of the world to try and find someone easier because it’s especially difficult to find unmarried Christian men after a certain age. My story: I'm turning 36 soon, no prospect but not worried at all. I decided to be patient, even if the spouse comes when I'm in my 40s, 50s or 80s. I decided that I would rather trust in God's timing than anxiously fill in the spouse with a "fake"/not the right one. Sure, it would be wonderful to have gotten married young and had babies earlier but when I look back at my life, I don't regret pouring my heart to God's service in my youth. And I'm confident that whether 5 months, 5 years, or 50 years from now, God's plans for me shall manifest. In the meantime, I keep filling my soul with His word, music, laughter and lots of joy.

I love this. I had the similar story. I live in Chicago and my boo lived in UK. I went on Bumble after saying I'm giving it one more month. My boo had visit Chicago two weeks prior on vacation and it listed him as being in Chicago by coincidence so I thought I was talking to a Chicago guy lol.
