How long should you rest to maximize muscle growth?

I thought the study said as low as 45 seconds for smaller muscles such a biceps and triceps had no difference.

2 minutes is too long for me, about 30-40 seconds of resting

Thanks for the good info, what if I do sets throughout the day and rest like 30 minutes to an hour between sets, does this negatively effect gains?

Getting sick of these study. It’s getting annoying. 52 sets, 1/4 second of rest between sets and injury partials to finish off.
