It's never gone into in any media outside of the Marvel comics, if I recall correctly, but there is a Cybertronian martial art called Metallikato, which puts a lot of emphasis on attacks to an opponent's joints, both strikes and locks. I felt some of his fights were an homage to this, especially the forest battle from Revenge of the Fallen, where many attacks he brings to bare seem to target joints or areas meant to flex. Amazing breakdown, I like the nod to how disturbingly brutal Optimus Prime is in the bay movies.

@Godzillarex Optimus is violent in Michael Bay's movies yes and remember he is in a huge war against the Decepticons, but he also has a sense of honor and justice as well so he knows what he is doing. Optimus Prime was actually trained after watching Megatron's famous arena battles, if I follow the correct order, the training he followed after the war was based in the first Primes tradition (maybe I'm wrong in what I'm saying). Anyway, Transformers also their own fighting styles which is awesome: they have Chōryūken, Diffusion, etc. From all, a famous one is Metallikato, the "Loss of Metal" as it's translated

Neldolas The Frye twins used Bartitsu. Not only was this in the Victorian Era, but if you upgrade Jacob's combat to the max, you get a trophy called "Bartitsu." This was a Victorian art based off Jiu-jitsu made for "gentlemen."

I know (and I've dabbled a bit in bartitsu, though I can't call myself a connoisseur). However, I like Adrian's extensive look at a character's fighting style, going further than what was announced. If you take, for example, Daredevil from Netflix, according to the fight coordinators, the styles used were boxing, kali and wing chun. Adrian went further and added seven styles for a grand total of ten martial arts. That's what I want to see ^_^

Man your videos are so good. I just watched them back to back.(they get a bit repetetiv, because the fighting style are so similar :)) Thats why I think you should do John Wick. He performs much more advanced Judo techniques than the typical hip throws, tratitional jiu jiutsu and many more. His firearm skills are also unrivaled. As his killing alot of humans he maybe is even more brutal than optimus prime. (the pencil scene in John Wick 2 is very brutal)

The front kick you cite often from Tai Kwon Do can also be found in Wing Chun. It has kicks from the waist level down. The front pressure kick is used at the mid section and the legs at thighs and knees. Also I'm not sure that Bo staff is Wing Chun. The Wing Chun one is a long staff, I don't know much about it, but I've never seen it used quite like that. This is just from what I've seen and learnt in the past and am not stating this as fact.
