Biggest different between Fultz and Simmons was that one lost confidence in himself due to a fear while the other lost confidence in himself because of injuries he couldn’t control.

Fultz was unbelievable in the 22/23 season. As a Magic fan, I can't stress that enough. He was special, and I loved him l to the point I got his jersey shipped out here to NZ. His return match after a season out against the Pacers in 21/22 was a beautiful moment - the entire crowd was there for him. Just so tragic that his injuries yet again got the better of him. Absolutely brilliant video mate - you've really done him justice, and as a diehard Magic fan you've got everything right

I think Markelle Fultz is still an NBA caliber player. Whether a cabable sixth man or a starter on a lottery team, I believe that he will get signed. If Killian Hayes and Ben Simmons are still receiving legitimate NBA contracts, Markelle should be signed as well. (I know Killian Hayes got waived, but he got serious attention from an NBA team).

he’s 26 with a good handle, good athleticism, and a good build. it’s a long road but crazier stuff has been done. he brings more value than a good amount of role players that ARE on teams, I just think his expectations are screwing him over. if he was the 22nd pick he’d still be in the league.

As a magic fan I always liked him as our starting pg. I felt save when he was with the ball, the player that was supposed to lead the game. Yes he had issues especially with injurries but a good Fultz game was always hype. Still hope he will be part of the NBA, would love to see a comeback from him. Of course I don't know him personally but I really wish him some luck at least before his career is finally done for. Seemed always to be a great guy.

As one of his biggest fans, it’s so sad to see. I’ve never wanted a player to succeed so bad man. I remember watching your other video about him a few years ago and after 2023, I thought he would defy the odds. If he didn’t get hurt multiple times last year, I truly believe he would have a max contract right now. Instead, I’m praying every single day he just finds himself on an NBA roster. Truly one of the saddest stories in NBA history.

To play Guard at the NBA level you HAVE to shoot 3's. The only way you can make a Roster as a guard that can't shoot is if your a demon on Defense like GPII. TBF, that is what has kept Fultz in the NBA is his near elite level defense. If he loses his athleticism and can't play defense the same way he is cooked. He'll have to play overseas.

When my UW huskies got a #1 ranked guard from Maryland I figured it would be the last of coach romar's career there so I watched every game markelle played that season. It was just so beautiful, long range, mid range, massive dunks, chase down blocks. He was a man amongst boys out there. I thought he would end up actually having the career Brandon Roy was meant to have in the nba but sadly doesn't look like that's gonna happen. Both robbed by the knee in the end

Philly getting two number one draft picks for two straight years and both of them ending up the way they are is just so damn unfortunate. I'm still hoping Fultz can bounceback or even get a min contract because its unfair that Simmons is getting paid because atleast Fultz is trying to comeback Simmons looks like he doesn't give a shit about basketball anymore (I know he had back issues but there was already something wrong with Ben even before that he just got way worse thanks to the injury)

There's almost no way he can be a star or even an elite roleplayer with how inconsistent his shooting is. One day he can shoot normally and the other his condition makes him unable to hit the broad side of a barn. It's too much of a gamble for a team to give him a significant contract, especially with the new CBA. He might still find a team that needs a backup guard I guess, maybe on a minimum contract.

He completely lost all of the confidence that he had built up over his entire life. He needs to rebuild all of it and it will take time if he decides to do it. I saw him play for the Washington Huskies and he had a lot of confidence and played well. Later he couldn’t even shoot a free throw because of his problems. He had a monkey on his back and was constantly doubting himself. Jordan, Bird and Kobe would take the game winning shot because they thought it was going in. Fultz saw the fan’s eyes on him with every free throw attempt and was worrying that it might not go in. That doesn’t work.
