For context, Michael wasn’t simply walking through your typical garden hose, what hoses firefighters use are meant to put out insanely hot fires and are also used to push back or keep protestors away (which can do some serious damage, especially at point blank range). The pressure of these hoses can often push fully grown humans around; that’s something you can’t do with a normal hose you’d use on your plants. Those we normally use may just cause annoyance, which would make you like Michael in that situation; walking right through it and likely slapping the hell out the one who foolishly ruined your nice clothes (the only real harm they can do to you is through chemicals, but its pressure however is still not as powerful).
