A couple of things. 1: Abramovich did not hire Ranieri. Ranieri was already the manager when Roman arrived, having been hired by Ken Bates in the autumn of 2000 to replace Gianluca Vialli. 2: Makelele was not the only player in the Chelsea squad to have won major trophies when Mourinho arrived. Geremi, signed by Ranieri the previous season, had won La Liga and the Champions League (twice) with Real Madrid. Desailly, one of the players Mou released had won basically everything there was to win including the Champions League with 2 different clubs (Marseille and AC Milan), the World Cup, and European Championship, and Celestine Babayaro had won the FA Cup in 2000 with Chelsea and the UEFA Cup Winners Cup in 1998. There were also Hernan Crespo and Juan Veron who had won the UEFA Cup with Parma, and Veron had won the Premier League with Man Utd and Serie A with Lazio. Thank you for doing this. People already forget this wonderful and trophy times and without Mourinho at Chelsea at that time when Arsenal with Wenger and United with Ferguson were almost unbeatable Chelsea would never get anywhere no matter how much they would spend. Which is even more crystal clear today when they spend 10 times more then in 2004 but they look like just a bunch of losers. Lampard as a player is a legend from Mourinho time but Lampard as a manager broke de Bour record with 10 out of 10 losses. This team will hardly ever if they ever repeat what Jose Mourinho managed to do with them just like Porto will probably never repeat what they did with Mourinho and they did it for peanuts. I dont even have to mention that without Abramovic as an owner who knew exactly when to make a right move even when he sacked Mourinho is actually the main reason for todays Chelsea losing mentality simply because the new owner got no clue what he is doing but keeps spending and that is the difference between the two of them owners. Anyways unless they bring back Mourinho at summer this team got zero chance even if they start winning they still cant compete with Guardiola City and Arteta Arsenal. That bring us to a similiar situatin from 2004 when Ferguson United and Wenger Arsenal dominated Premiership but Mourinho comes and brushes them off. He can do that again without any doubt. If you forget that he won everything that can be won in football then just change the perspective and look at what he does with peanuts money and average team like Roma. He will repeat with Roma what he did with Manchester United he will win Europa League and push Roma into Champions League because a winner of Europa League goes directly to Champions League and that was the receipt he used to bring United back to Champions League when they were also on the knees. You can like this guy or not you can hate his gameplay style or not but there is one thing beside all the trophies that he won and that thing is he got winning mentality excellent work ethics amazing talent for spotting football tactics details and a perfect character for this game of football that he knows how to transfer to his players unless they are useless or not listen to how he wants to play. He is a natural born winner that always bring the best from his teams. Dont forget how bad was United at that time he said that no trophy he won can match him being 2nd with such a bad team like United at that time. Dont forget everyone blamed him for poor Tottenham and look at Spurs today even Conte who is also natural born winner could not shake them up. Like him or not this guy is a football legend genius and mastermind who is always mostly disrespected because he speek the truth and is not a part of any football world "clan". I would also like to thank you for another video of yours where you explained how he won everything with peanuts as he says meaning without any money at Porto and that video of yours i recommend to younger generations. Wonderful job and allow me to finish this long comment with a quote from John Terry who said that he was ready to leave the pitch in a coffin for Mourinho which clearly shows how much he respected Mourinho and followed his instructions which most of todays players do not want to do or they just look for a trouble and playing without any pressure. And I didnt even mention that he brake that best Barcelona team of all times dominance at Spain by winning that League with over 120 goals scored and destroyed the same world top team of that time Barcelona with average Inter team who Mourinho turned into a winning machine which they never manage to repeat again too. Simply the best.

It is fact that Maurinho has revolutionised football managerial profession from isolated pitch coach to complete manager who control pitch and market management with his consortium..then follow by evolution with Pep and Jurgen Klopp innovation...all done with simple philosophy of control and united winning mentality to turn into commitment..but anyone who reach top always has problem to stay humble..

The only thing I hate about him is that he managed AGAINST Sporting CP. What he achieved in FC Porto (with a team that honestly didn't have any right to be THAT good) was nothing short of special.
