Great choice - love R50s and Park Lane's in particular. Good time to buy, they've never been cheaper. Great that there's no oil leaks and that year will have the uprated steering pump too. Shame no tach pack or sunroof. Check front wishbone play, central locking and all electrics. Well done, hope it makes you more than a few quid.

Mini wipers always screech, and the Aircon leak's, and the plastic thermostat housing crack's, and the handbrake bezel falls off, and if it been raining when the boot is opened it drips/runs into the boot.

Sorry rob disappointed was waiting for you to do the numbers at the end for the clock repair. All that work Chris done on the clock only to be forgotten 😂😂😂 haha the six gear shuffle I’m always doing that on my works car which has only five gear and the wife’s car has six. When I drive my car and forget wife’s says “ oh you got six gears in your car”. Cheeky sod😂😂. What is amazing is that you got the car cheap did what was needed to make it right and actually did it properly and then still selling it cheap Damn I'd have had this for myself. If I needed a cheap car ( actually I do for my Kids as they're just about to take their tests) Ideal First car for someone Just a shame some people try to pass off clapped out cars with bodgy repairs for a lot more money hoping you won't notice till it too late

You need to jump on that mig on some scrap. Mig welding is unbelievably easy, some of the stuff you're doing mechanics wise is far more complicated! You'll kick yourself when you pick it up

They're DIY people, I doubt they'd touch one needing repairs on the electrical system for the hybrid as you need expensive static matts etc, they can kill you very easily if you're messing with them.
