The Ministorum Priest unit card have two distincts loadouts Vindictor or Holy Pistol w. Power Weapon. Each loadout have a distinct model. Old guy priest model for the Pistol/Power weapon combo and the model in the combat patrol for the vindictor loadout. I don't know why they didn't just duplicated the unit card but maybe they wanted to limit the numbers of priests one could take?

im not unhappy. i was running them with their index despite them being horseshit. eventhough theyre still horseshit, but a little less so, Im still happy with the book. its not an army id run often but its for the meme

Ive got almost 2k of agents painted right now .. i think if you ran three squads of ten deathwatch veterans they are pretty competitive. those melee built vets are your only heavy hitters in the whole codex

I would imagine a good chunk of us with 2k lists for IA are running 2-4 units of 10 deathwatch + watch masters/artemis and then 2-3 assassins. Then after that you fill in the rest with whatever you think is best. I included 2 Corvus Blackstars in my particular list after convincing myself they’re just cheaper land raiders with movement over durability. (It’s a stretch but I also like painting CBSs sooo) I went Deathwatch heavy and figure I’ll flip between Imperialis Fleet or Ordo Xenos depending on event type.

Considering that this army lacks both big tough stuff and strong firepower, it totally makes sense to include a Knight. It is certainly what I would do if I were mad enough to run a pure Agents army. Good call on the Grey Knights. I hope/expect them getting new, upscaled minis with their 10th edition codex. So while I would want a unit to go with my Agents, it is very reasonable to wait for now.

Yeah a knight is a must, otherwise you've literally got nothing that can even touch a tank or even anything slightly chonky...

This is a good series, as a follow up, would you be so kind and maybe go through the wallet shattering process of picking a couple of the lists and purchase (by any means possible, back alley deals are 👍) the army and do follow up videos of the building and painting, then finally, as ultimate fulfilment of the story of these armies, take them to tournaments etc and do battle reports!!!!! This journey we would go on would be aces, cos you watch this current series and your like, I want to see this army, in the flesh/plastic on a screen. Also most people who warhammer only get as far as the purchasing stage 😂. But do be careful, the power these videos have. Following the sisters video, and possibly because of that video, (not pointing fingers) I have become the proud owner of 2285 points of sisters of battle. And achieved this for £420 ……. EBay, glorious eBay, and it’s all on sprue, just delightful.

This list sounds like dumb fun but sadly not $1000 of dumb fun. I do kinda sorta like the idea of 4 combat patrols worth of arbites running around though. I do love the idea of you two eventually picking two of these silly lists and doing a battle report of silly list v silly list

Honestly they should just release all the rules for each army in 1 of 4 books. They're separated into 4 groups on the GW store, just give me an Armies of the Imperium book to cover everything under that group on the store. Or better yet, make the rules to this overly expensive hobby free. The moment an army gets a codex its very annoying because I cant fact check my friend on their rules easily without asking for their book.
